Fremont Community Theatre — Attraction in Fremont

I've been performing and watching shows at this location for two decades now, so i may be a little biased. Everyone I've worked with here over the years is passionate about bringing professional caliber shows to the community. Their love for their craft is evident in the effort they put into each show, from acting to directing to helping out with technical aspects to simply providing refreshments during intermission. Another great thing about FCT is the Teen Theatre and Youth Theatre programs, introducing theatre to the next generation and getting youth involved in something that they'll hopefully come away with a great experience and inspire them for rest of their lives. At FCT, that's almost guaranteed. (Like everything, theatre's not for everyone). But i CAN say, without a doubt, FCT is one of the best things...

The theater is an older community building, though it still serves all of its purposes. We saw the final production for "School of Rock," and it was well done. A great variety of actors and characters. The production was different than the movie, which my family almost wore out on d v d.

I highly recommend checking out the website for their upcoming shows and choosing at least one to go see. Give it as a gift to someone you care about, or give to yourself and take someone along.

Tickets to see anything here would be money better spent than more landfill...

Wizard of Oz production was fantastic! Four of us in my group all agreed on one aspect that needs improvement which was the quality of speaking parts. Not the players themselves but rather the equipment. Have enjoyed many plays here...
