Everything in the home was stunning! It's a gift that places like this have been preserved for future generations to see and experience. I only wish more were saved and restored. The staff or volunteers, I'm not sure which they are, were all very nice and knowledgeable in general. My only issues are: cash only (not expensive, $5 each, but we were traveling and didn't have cash on us, which meant we had to leave & find an ATM), limited hours, and it's a guided tour that feels rushed. It felt like we couldn't truly look around and take everything in, before being shuffled to the next room. Once we reached the end of the tour, it felt even more rushed, and they were hurrying to get the door locked behind us as we left. Overall, it was still a good experience and I would recommend it to others.

I visited the Louis E May Museum when I worked in Fremont but this day was special for two of my good friends. They had their wedding outside the front entrance and it was very beautiful and what a lovely day the weather offered. I would recommend visiting the museum and seeing for yourself the splendor of the photos, the stories and the art.

Went to the Christmas open house with a freind tonight. And have been here before, so glad evryone is in the Christmas spirit, however wish they would have had the inside open, also wish it would have been for a weekend, like Saturday and Sunday afternoon, instead of one weekday nite, but at least they had...
