Wish i could give this place negative stars, lol. Iâve been here a few times and each visit the employees are all yelling at each other and the lobby is trashed. Tonight we walked in at 8:50 pm, greeted by zero of the 10 employees behind the counter at the time, and three avoided us at the register before taking our order. Finally one of the girls took our order in between continuing her conversation with coworkers about her fitness routine. Meanwhile the manager appears from the back in street clothes and open toed shoesâ a clear health code violation for the food service industry. At least this visit she wasnât yelling at employees? I guess? 12 minutes later we see an employee finally put our brownies in the oven. When he took them out of the oven he is somehow compelled to TOUCH BOTH BROWNIES to see how hot they are (????) and then places them on a spatula, then into their dessert containers. What was the POINT of the spatula??? DONT TOUCH MY FOOD are you kidding me? Surprised this place has not been...
Read moreWe were traveling past Fremont on our way home from a football game on 9/3/2021. It was about 9:30 pm and we wanted some ice cream so we decided to go turn into Fremont and go to Dairy Queen. After ordering and the person repeating our order back to us, we got to the window and paid. We ordered 3 blizzards (1 girl scout thin mint, 1 reese's peanut butter cup with extra reese's, and 1 cookie dough). When we got our blizzards handed to us, the person at the window said what the blizzards were like we ordered so we drove off. As we started eating them, 2 of the 3 were wrong. The Reese's one want not the peanut butter cups, it had reese's pieces in it. Then the cookie dough was a brownie batter. My husband hates reese's pieces and ended up stopping at a gas station to throw it out because he wasn't going to go back and wait in line again since we had waited 25 minutes to begin with. My daughter also didn't want hers and threw it out also because she doesn't like the brownie batter. I am not impressed with this...
Read moreThis dairy queen consistently takes 20 ton25 minute from the time you order until you can even get to the window.
They also do not follow in International Dairy Queen rules on some items and the inform their customers that they are not corporate so they do not have to.
The size of their products is consistently smaller than dq in nearby towns and would not weigh what is stated by idq standards.
The French fries were old or tasted as if they were fried in burnt oil that needed to be changed.
The grilled chicken sandwich tasted as if it was cooked in with fish and had a smell of fish to it as well. We were unable to eat it and this is not the first experience of this kind at this store.
I highly recommend choosing a different place to eat and get ice cream while in Fremont until this location chooses to meet idq standards and corrects the quality and taste of their items as the price is definitely...
