Finally, a freshwater beach close enough to South Bay where we can go swim with the kids! They have lifeguards, cordoned off shallow swimming sections and a decent sized beach area. Good for families with young kids. We even saw small fish swimming in the shallow water. The water temperature was nice and warm-ish, which is a refreshing change from other water bodies here :) It was also nice and breezy, not cold and windy like, say, Shoreline in Mountain View. Above that there’s a grassy area with some picnic tables- beware the goose poop and ants in...
