County Line Event Center — Attraction in Friendswood

I got married here on October 1, 2022, and it was amazing. It is hard to express how absolutely effortless the experience was. If you're thinking about this venue and you want a lovely and low stress wedding day, I recommend it.

The Venue: it is so pretty. We had an outside ceremony and the space is so wonderfully decorated. It's simple and a little southern and just feels like the right balance of formal and casual. We set up lawn games for people to play while we were getting photos and the whole place makes for a good backdrop. I also opted to stay the night before with my bridesmaids which was a lot of fun. Already being there the day before gave us time to relax and make sure we had everything we needed.

The Team: from the beginning, communication was clear and easy. Ms. Bean usually got back to me within 24 hours. As an example of how wonderful she is: I had originally planned to have a friend perform the ceremony but, unfortunately, the week before the wedding my friend caught the flu. I sent a message to Ms. Bean that I was down an officiant and she had it taken care of with time to spare. I cannot over state how much stress the team at this venue will take off your shoulders.

The Food: usually, this is where weddings can kinda go sideways. As a guest I have had one too many sad pasta bar to fully trust weddings food, but the cater for County Line Event Center was phenomenal. People complemented the food. Days afterward people were asking my mother where his restaurant was in hopes of getting just a little more of the mashed potatoes and brisket. I was so impressed. While I didn't eat at the wedding (yay nerves) our day-of coordinator packed a box for both me and the groom to enjoy once we got home.

This is one of the best venues to host any number of events. The service is incredibly friendly and professional. They are extremely attentive to your desires and work to provide you with the experience of a lifetime. I was married at this location and my experience was excellent. The site is very well maintained and the buildings are modern and comfortable. The venue is able to host around 100 guests at any given time. In regards to weddings, they make everything incredibly easy. Their wedding packages are very competitive and very reasonably priced. They provide options for everything to yield the wedding of your dreams. The best part is that it takes all the stress out of wedding planning. They guide you through every step and provide you with an assistant on your big day that keeps you aware of everything you need to do as a groom or bride. Our wedding at County Line Event Center was amazing. I was hoping for an outdoor ceremony, but it down poured the night before and was cold and wet on the day of. When I walked down the aisle in our "Plan B" (inside the reception hall), I was amazed at how beautiful it was. Meloney and her staff worked like a machine. My husband and I were never without a drink in our hands, DJ Matt got our families and friends on the dance floor the whole time and Meloney's decorations were exactly what I pictured for my wedding.
