Our dog, Ollie had a blast! Even though it was kind of rainy out, he was just having the best time running free and playing with my daughter. There were no other dogs there, probably due to bad weather, but I think that was good for him. Next time he goes he will already feel semi-comfortable there and be ready to make some new friends. We will probably go back tomorrow! (If the sun decides to come out!)

Has 2 large fenced in areas, one for dogs 30 pounds and under and one for dogs over 30 pounds. Occasionally gets muddy after rain in the top section of the large dog area.

Our dogs absolutely love it here. The park is huge and provides a water fountain for the dogs as well as poop bags to clean up after your pets. We visit every week.

I didn't realize this place was even here and I'm glad I found it! I currently do not have the ideal space for my dog to run free, so this is an awesome place for such, as well as playing with other dogs, and everyone there was very friendly. Best part? No cost!! Like with doggie daycares. During the winter, the water is cut off, so you will need to bring water for your dog or a container to fill up at the water fountain. Bring lots of toys as well! There's 2 enclosed areas; one for big dogs and one for small so that's also convenient. I didn't have my children with me this time, so I didn't check out the entire park, but I did see plenty of space with fields, playground, restrooms and seating with shade. I look forward to going back with them next time, as it's much larger than the park closer to my house. Thumbs up Gainesville!!! I've been very pleased thus far with the parks/recreation...

I personally thought it was a well maintained, spacious area for our Terrier-Greyhound medium size dog to play. Multiple people were there with their own puppers which played with our dog. Everyone was pleasant and there was a water source for the soga to drink water. The fencing was high enough and with multiple gates so there was no concern of the dogs getting out, with ample parking space. A trashcan that looked like it was changed daily was situated close by for any poop bags or general rubbish. A great place to take your pup for an hour or so to run around and play and socialize with...

I try and bring my golden retriever here at least once a week. It's a great open park with lots of room to run. It can be muddy in spots after rain, but my dog loves to lay in it to cool off, so I guess I can't complain. I'd rate it 5 stars if the water fountain worked. You have to bring your own water and the bowl under the fountain is always really dirty, so I bring my own bowl too.

Edit: I found out that the water was turned off for the winter, so I changed my review to a...
