Laurel Park Splash Pad — Attraction in Gainesville

It is an extremely romantic, beautiful, beautiful, quiet place, full of a variety of entertainment for children, young people and adults. Unfortunately it is not the first time that I have encountered the same area, practically in a difficult way to enjoy and I refer to the wooden bench that is at the end of the parking lot, here I present some photos where people use the seats as a table to squid and break the fish, this is something very scandalous. I personally have paid for a fishing licence in the lakes of Georgia and in conversation with several people they tell me that they have never paid such a licence and do not need because the time they have been living in this area they never report or intervene and I think they are right. The garbage thrown out, the campfires, the food waste, the cans and the beer bottles and more are left on the ground and in the recreational areas. More vigilance and aggressive fines are needed; once you start intervening, fining and arresting, all of this must disappear, because otherwise the beautiful and beautiful Gainesville GA has will disappear. Es un lugar extremadamente romántico, bello, hermoso, pacífico, lleno de gran variedad de entretenimiento para niños, jóvenes y adultos. Las facilidades son excepcionales, sinceramente lo recomiendo para actividades al aire libre, como la pesca, caminar, liberación del stress y más. Lamentablemente no es la primera vez que me encuentro con la misma área, prácticamente de una manera difícil de disfrutar y me refiero al banco de madera que está al final del estacionamiento, aquí les presento unas fotos en dónde personas utilizan los asientos como mesa para escamar y partir los peces, esto es algo muy indignante. Yo personalmente he pagado por licencia de pesca en lagos de Georgia y en conversación con varias personas me indican que ellos nunca han pagado dicha licencia y no les hace falta por que el tiempo que llevan viviendo en ésta área nunca denuncian o intervienen y creo que están en lo cierto. Las basuras lanzadas, fogatas, desperdicios de alimentos, latas y botellas de cervezas y más, son dejados en el suelo y áreas recreativas. Hace falta más vigilancia y multas agresivas; una vez que se comience a intervenir, multar y arrestar, todo ésto debe de desaparecer, porque si no desaparecerá lo bello y hermoso que tiene Gainesville GA. También les traigo la preocupación de las personas que pasean sus mascotas (perros) que hacen sus necesidades y no les importa recoger los desperdicios. Por todo el nuevo camino que hicieron alrededor de las instalaciones hay hoy día muchísimo excremento de perros y entiendo que hay que poner mano dura en las leyes y reglamentos existentes. Was so excited that the splash zone was finally reopened. Loved the new design, and my grandson was so excited when he set eyes on the new play area, all he could do was bounce and shout and point and say WaTer. WaTer!

That being said, the fun didn't last long. We were there all of 10 minutes when he tried to climb on the white triangle and slipped and busted his chin open. This photo was taken in the ER so he could get a couple little stitches to fix the booboo. His little knees and ankles and toes were also just eat up by the rough bottom. I get it. It's a brand new concrete floor. Just wanted to warn parents, so maybe this little accident and these small boo boos don't keep happening.

Love the design but beware the triangle. It has what looks like notches for a climbing wall. So the children want to climb it. But the edges are very sharp. The water shooting out the top makes it slippery, all around.
