Washingtonian Woods Park — Attraction in Gaithersburg

This is a nice little park in Gaithersburg. There are several ponds full of wildlife, two tennis courts, a basketball court, and a large children's playground. The path winds around the park, in some areas next to local condos, apartments, and neighboring houses. Attached is a picture of a log, covered with turtles. If you look closely, you might see one of the large snapping turtles in the pond. And, of course, there are herons, geese, and ducks...

Nice walking trails and playground. It does lack some common park amenities. No restroom facilities, picnic tables, or running water available.
