Nice little park if you like watching trains. Small play area for kids, it also has a Pennsy N5 caboose, and an old PRR position light signal on display (lit). You have a perfect view of the west end of Gallitzin tunnel and there is a bridge over the track where you can get a view, straight on, facing the tunnel portal. Close by to Portage tunnel, the Horseshoe Curve, Cresson RR Park, and the Allegheny Portage...

Fantastic spot to watch trains making their way up the mountain and through the tunnels. About to get very close and above. Great spot for pictures. Nearby parking and a caboose located there also. Easily able to find following signs or GPS from 22 and not far from other rail road attractions like Horseshoe Curve, Rail Roaders museum or the Cassandra lookout. Highly recommended...

The summit of the Pennsylvania RR ( now Norfolk Southern) Main Line from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh and Chicago. Small museum( with bathrooms )and a caboose are added bonuses.Caboose was open, and it was neat watching trains go by standing on the back platform of the caboose. Some picnic tables available.

Kid loves going up there to watch the trains go by. They do have a museum but wasn't open when we went. We did get to walk through an old PRR caboose that looked like what it would when they used them. Little area to let kids run around with wooden train they can play on.
