This particular spot is perfect for everyone. Free parking and easy beach access with only being a moderate walking distance.
The parking area is a bit small but the many times my family and I have been, we have never seen more than one or two more cars there throughout the entire day we spend out there.
If you plan to bring a cooler make sure it has wheels! I cannot stress this enough. The walk is moderate and by that I mean it’s a straight and flat walkway with one small slope, very small, and the entirety of the walk would be about 300-400 feet if I had to guess.
As for the cleanliness, it’s possibly the cleanest, free spot on the whole island. I have never seen anything trash related or anything for that matter and being that it’s so far up the island, it’s never crowded. So you can really enjoy the beach and the sound of the waves as well as peace of mind if you have children.
Anytime my family and I go, we pack a cooler, a tent and some chairs and we can usually lug it all in one trip but if we can’t, the walk isn’t so bad that I can’t go back and get whatever is missing.
I highly recommend this spot for anyone. I have been going for years and it’s the only spot my family...
