I joined Clubhound last summer after years of daily visits to public dog parks with my dog, Baloo. We'd had more than our share of stressful experiences—dog fights, unsafe layouts with no fencing, and even a serious case of drug-resistant Giardia. I was ready for something better, and Clubhound delivered from day one.
The difference is immediately clear. All dogs are vaccinated, generally fixed, and well-socialized, which means the energy is calm and friendly. There are dedicated staff—called "Rufferees"—who monitor play and make sure everyone is safe and having fun. It’s also spotless. The team is incredibly attentive about cleanliness, especially when it comes to poop pickup and general maintenance.
The space itself is incredible: a massive, securely enclosed area for dogs to run freely, plus water fountains throughout, a dog bath station, and plenty of places to rest. For humans, it’s just as appealing. There’s a coffee bar for the mornings, beer and wine for later in the day, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Fire pits and heaters keep things cozy during cooler months, and there’s a steady stream of remote workers using it as a third space during the day. Everyone is kind, open, and happy to chat—you really get the sense of a community here.
Baloo absolutely loves it. He’s become better at socializing with both dogs and people, and he even acts as the unofficial “sheriff” of the park, helping keep the peace with his 110 pounds of fluffy authority. He knows and loves nearly every dog there—and the staff know him by name.
I fully recommend Clubhound to every dog owner. Whether your pup needs serious exercise, confidence-building social time, or just a safe space to explore, this place delivers. It's great for families, singles, remote workers, or anyone looking to enjoy a drink in the sun while their dog has the time of their life. I’m there every day, and I wouldn’t have it...
Read moreThe people here are really nice, and it’s a very nice place. If your dog has resource guarding issues stay away from this place. We took our two dogs here and they put out frozen beef treats, the thought was nice but one of my pups gets a bit aggressive over food so she ended up going after another dog, so i took her outside.
When we got outside, a few people started playing cornhole. As they were throwing their sand bags, of course my puppy went after the bags, and ran off with them, which upset people. It’s not my fault that they’re playing cornhole in a dog park.
The last time they threw a bag before we left, my dog went to grab it, but so did another dog. She went after that dog, and the owner shouted at us “Yeah that dog needs to get out of here” making us feel bad for just trying to enjoy this new dog park.
I think they should have a no dogs section with cornhole, and places where you can eat. I for one, do not want to be made to feel bad for my dogs behavior, whenever these situations should have never been presented (the beef treats being left out for all dogs, and cornhole/toys left around) We ended up leaving because everyone moved away from us even though she was on her leash. It’s almost humiliating, but mostly frustrating since she should have never been in this situation to begin with.
Again, I really loved this place and was really thinking of purchasing a membership before we left, but really don’t want to pay $60 per month if we will have to leave 1 hr into our stay due to people making rude comments to us...
Read moreIt was such a fun time coming here, we really loved the atmosphere and everything that is offered for the pups and their humans. The only suggestions I have is, with the weather being so hot there should be more shade in the off-leash area for the dogs and maybe misters too. One of my biggest complaint is the mulch, it is so rough for the dogs paws. One of my dogs hated walking on it, he was waddling through lol and our other dog has more sensitive paws so we had to limit her time on it because of the risk of her pads tearing. When the splash pad/pool area opened up, there should’ve been more shade for both the humans and pups. I asked an employee what they plan on laying down around the wet area because it’s all gravel/sand and she said mulch because if they add grass it’d be too muddy. I get it, but at the same time mulch would be so rough on wet paws that grass would ultimately be the best option for the pups.
Regardless, there’s a lot of potential here! Hopefully they make a few more changes to make it a better experience for...
