I had a great time here overall, but there are definitely some things I should mention. Despite everything I'm about to say, I will likely come back to this place at some point.
Pros: If you want a genuinely challenging course, definitely play here, as there are some truly challenging and tough holes on the two courses this place has to offer. The waterfall scenery is also nice, and each course has its own practice green.
This place also has a system where if you get a hole-in-one, you can go back to the lobby, spin a wheel, and if the number the wheel lands on matches the number of the hole you got your hole-in-one on, you get a little prize of some sort!
Cons: This is one of those places that uses a big metal hole for each green, and it always gives me a sense of dread when I see something like that on a miniature golf course, and I have good reason for it. I feel like courses that have holes like that, I tend to do worse on, as I feel like something about the metal placement in the AstroTurf messes up my ball as it rolls along the green.
There were quite a few times here, I'd say at least ten, where I felt like I had lined up my shot with the hole perfectly, but my ball still somehow barely missed it. I'm not the best player in the world, so I can expect that to happen once or twice, but it's still extremely frustrating when it happens over and over again, and it couldn't be me all of those times!
Also, the scenery and decorations of the course were nice, but if you're not into tall stacks of grey rocks, this place might visually bore you.
In short, I still had a fun time here, and I'd still recommend this to other people if you are looking for a true challenge, but when you keep getting a bad score because of problems you feel like is the AstroTurf fault and not yours, that's when it goes from being a challenge to...
Read moreMy family has been playing mini golf every year on vacation for the past 20 years and this was by far the worst one. We are by no means professionals but we do enjoy a challenging course. At first glance course looked like it had potential because of the curves and hills, however every hole was raised up slightly which made it next to impossible to get it in unless you were less than a few inches away. The tee pads were also raised up which meant any minor fluctuations in your hit can cause you to hit the pad before the ball. The price was also outrageous. Had we gotten there at 5:59 pm we would have been able to play both 18-hole courses for $10 per person but because we got there at 7:30 pm we were charged the night fee which is $15 per person for one 18-hole course. To top it all off, they don’t even give you a free game if you get a hole-in-one on the last hole. I recommended going to any other mini golf in the area before you...
Read moreThis is not the place if you have a stroller and younger kids. We have 3 kids, the youngest is 1, we had to carry the stroller and car seat over most of the course. The walkways are too narrow for anything bigger than a small umbrella stroller, and the bushes were overgrown and taking up several of the walkways. There are also a few spots where you walk over the water features without anything to keep kids from falling in.
There's also a sign saying they accept competitor coupons. We were told they only accept dollar off competitor coupons, and not the competitor coupon that we presented. So either the sign needs to change and say they only accept competitor dollar off coupons, or they need to honor what the sign actually says.
Overall, the course is pretty fun, but some of the entertainment was lost having to make sure our kids weren't feeling in the water or carrying...
