Gaston Pickers Antique Mall and Auctions — Attraction in Gastonia

We visited this shop because of an ad my husband heard on Calvin Hastings'. As always we checked the store hours on arriving and were happy to see it was open from 1:00 until 6:00 on a Sunday afternoon. Lots of nice things to see inside. Lots of clutter, but being flea marketers from way back we are used to that & don't mind climbing over stuff to find a treasure. However, we arrived at 4:00 & thought we had 2 hours of browsing.We were deep inside the building when a fellow came around telling us they were closing in 5 minutes. My husband asked if it was 6 o'clock already? The fellow said, "it's our 6 o'clock". I pulled out my phone to check and it was 5:00 PM. There were no signs they were closing early, no warnings anywhere, just this little fellow. Might add, the parking lot was pretty full of cars, there were lots of customers inside the building. We didn't get to browse all the aisles, and didn't have time to go back to pick up anything we saw that we might have wanted to buy. Will we go back? Probably, but it will be a long time as we don't get many afternoon off from family responsibilities right now. They missed a sale & we may have missed come really nice items. I had no idea Gastonia had such a gem! Antiques, Antiques, vintage items and more ANTIQUES! You will find such beautiful one of a kind, intricate treasures and art. Personally I love antique malls for the decor and this place exceeds my expectations every time. I just found out about this place and I cannot stay away. Every time I go I find such beautiful things to take home and cherish☺️ and I love it! ✨ This place has something for EVERYONE of all ages and personalities for wonderful, reasonable and great prices. I have been telling all of my friends and family about this hidden gem and so far they have loved it too! Even the ones who hate shopping have found things to love here! Not to mention it’s MASSIVE. I love this place I ALWAYS come home with at least a few things. This is coming from someone who hardly ever finds anything that I love. There is SO MUCH STUFF! This place is so huge that you can barely make it through the whole store without giving up! There has to be at least 35 booths from different vendors here. It really is the best antique MALL I've ever been too. Everytime I check out the total is a lot less than expected because they are constantly running 25%-50% discount sales on nearly everything in the store. You wouldn't believe the great prices!
