This bridge is the southernmost auto bridge on it's course at the mouth where it meets the New River and forms the Great Kanawha. A yellow rubber ducky dropped off this bridge would eventually, barring locks and dams, make it's way to the Gulf of Mexico via the Kanawha, Ohio, and Mississippi River....
