The Station — Restaurant in Gauley Bridge

First time here. I love little diners so this place was great. It is nice to have a different option to choose from close to home. My husband ordered a burger loaded with a fried egg (and all kinds of other toppings), and I ordered the steak sandwich. Both came with French fries. I have to say the thing I liked the most was our server. I dont know her name but she was extremely nice and made us feel welcome. We were given a lunch and dinner menu. I am not sure if they serve breakfast but it would be great if they did. Prices were reasonable but I did feel that the pie and cake prices were a little high. Im sure we will go back and I hope...

Went a bit out of the way to get here because the reviews looked great. We ordered a fried pickles appetizer about 15 minutes before we ordered meals. They didn’t come until after our meals which also took a bit. I ordered the turkey dinner with mashed potato’s, Mac n cheese and it came with fried stuffing. The turkey was good. Mac cold and the fried stuffing just tasted like oil.

I really truly was ready to love this place, but I didn’t eat any of the pickles and only part of my meal. 😞 I left...

We waited well over an hour for our food. The table behind us apparently got half of our order and had to wait longer for it to be prepared again. My burger was just okay and fries were cold. When the other half of order came out the Philly steak and fries were hot. Philly Sandwich was good.. The counter service was poor and had to go to counter to get drink refills. Certainly not...
