Fee to pay & Only Card is accepted at entrance! Non residents $5 pre person or $10 for a car-full Clean lake, but grab some bug repellent! Dogs not allowed even if using trails or lake! The playground is unique with astro turf flooring Covered umbrellas by shore along with picnic tables through out park & by wooded area that is shaded. 4 Bridges over the water which lead though the wooded trails! Nice larger parking lot

For a small community beach to charge as much as they do for "outsiders" to attend it's not that great of a beach. For the same price they charge daily I could purchase a year pass elsewhere. Their website states the fee is for security (and only charged to non-resisdents) yet I didn't see one single security person there on my last visit. On the plus side it's small and local and is a quick visit to cool off.

I've really tried to give this park chance after chance, but it keeps getting worse everytime we go back. The beach, if you'd call it that, is scattered with cigarette butts, wrappers and Band-Aids....the lake has a green tint as well- at least it did the last time we were there. The park is in pretty rough shape, could use major TLC. Maybe the park would benefit from having security cameras around the area to attempt to catch those that have ruined it. Unfortunately, my children and I had the pleasure of witnessing people openly smoking Marijuana and a physical altercation between a group of teens. We left immediately as it was occuring. I'm not saying the park is full of this type of crowd on a daily basis, but our past experience will prevent us from...

My family really enjoys this park! I have gone to this park for the last 20 years and it is such a peaceful, relaxing place. There is a nice walking path around the lake/pond that is about a mile long. It's a nice nature walk with a variety of birds(blue heron, bald eagle), turtles, rabbits, etc. There are nice decks for fishing, and a large pavilion. The beach and playground areas are very nice as well and well maintained. I would like to put a word of caution out there for swimming - there is a sharp drop off not too far from shore. There have been several drownings in this pond. You do have to pay admission to this park if not a Georgetown Township resident between Memorial Day...

For several years I went to this park while living in Hudsonville...now we cannot. I went to take my grandkids swimming there while they were visiting and they are charging $ per car or $5 per person. I guess the State Parks are looking better and better. I already have a pass to those and only a 20-30 minute drive is well worth it for a cleaner lake. I feel they should maybe rethink the prices for folks to come there...especially Hudsonville residents. Seems a bit biased to allow 48th Ave Hudsonville, MI residents access but not the people that live right in town just blocks away to use the park...
