This place has a lovely spot. And our waitress was nice she gets a 5 star. The hostess was a little rude. We had reservation. So we got seated right away. Most the food came out looking wounderful. But didn't have the great flavor we would expect from here. The worst was the chicken and waffles. On the menu it says it's a new item. So I gave it a try. Take this off your menu it is awfully. It came out with an overcooked waffle, 1tbsp of the maple-cayenne syrup, very burnt fried chicken which were only two bite size pieces (There should be a good size piece of chicken, waffles don't cost much to make), and home fries that we're brownand over cooked. (Make the plate looked appealing. We eat with our eyes as much as our mouths if it doesn't look good it's already off to a bad start). You could dress the potatoes up with onions and green peppers add piped whipped butter to the waffle, with some green chives sprinkled on the plate. My waitress who was great said as she put it down she was going to ask for more syrup because they gave me almost none. Then I asked if the chicken always came out this dark and she didn't know she had never had it or served it but she agreed it looked over cooked. Which it was I tried it. It tasted burnt. She brought the chicken back to the kitchen and got me syrup and butter. 20min later she brought back a small piece of chicken and said they had tried to cook it less but that's just how it comes out. I was highly disappointed...
Read moreGood large burger and wonderful atmosphere.
Signature Burger - $16: Huge half pound char-grilled higher quality angus beef patty. I ordered it medium, but it came a bit closer to medium rare (which I like anyway). It was VERY juicy, but could have used a little more seasoning (mainly salt and pepper).
The applewood smoked bacon was good. The sharp cheddar is not my normal preference, but it worked here with the rest of the burger. The toppings were crisp and fresh. The house made bistro sauce sat in the background a bit more, but was good. The toasted artisan bakery bun went well with this burger and supported the flavors well.
Fries - ($2 more with burger): Battered medium cut fries, though a tad thicker. They were wonderful, a tad salty, but well within normal limits. They were warm and there were plenty.
Was it worth $18 for the burger and fries? For as big as it was and good quality overall, I would definitely say it was. The atmosphere definitely made it worth it, too.
Service: Kind, exact, always on top. Our waters were filled regularly.
Atmosphere: Very upscale, clean, organized, and modern. The music was a little loud, but not obnoxious. They played classy, upbeat music and occasionally oldies.
They do have an event section, an outdoor pool, and golf course on the grounds. Everything about this place was upscale and nice.
Conclusion: I’d recommend their burger and just about everything about them.

Read moreAfter family members recommended Rush Creek Bistro we decided to join them on Saturday 10/31. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. There were very few customers so service was fast.
My 1st concern was the dining room temp was on the cool side of comfort. The wine suggested was very good and the appetizer was also tasty. 2 of us ordered soup. One French Onion and the other a chowder. Both were luke warm at best. The chowder was like water with shrimp seasoning.
My main course was a salmon dish which was again, luke warm. The broccoli was very underdone. I understand that it should not be soft however it was like bitting through a raw stock. The blossom was just ok. The rest of the meals appeared to be very good.
I ordered a coffee with sugar to warm myself in the cold room and didn't receive a spoon until after we all ordered dessert which one of us was served incorrectly.
I am not a fussy individual or someone difficult to please however when issues begin to multiply then patterns begin to become evident.
Will I return or recommend Rush reek Bistro. That's very unlikely. I expected much more from an establishment of...
