Harvest Church — Attraction in Germantown

I called the church to ask why they did ZERO decoration for Christmas…and got brushed off/dismissed by the lady answering the phone. I looked at the website and see a large payroll likely with handsome salaries, yet everyone is always in a meeting. It’s stuff like this that runs people off from organized religion. A HOSPITAL in Collierville put up a nativity scene and Harvest didn’t even place a bow on the church sign? Wow. A sign of the times, right? Let’s all remember the REASON FOR THE SEASON - celebrating Jesus’s birth. Shame on these people for not placing a sign of some sort encouraging people to drop in so they can be WITNESSED TO. Treating it like a country club? Organized religion should be about community outreach, engagement, setting examples, charity, AND WINNING LOST SOULS. Shame! 10’s of thousands of people drive by there weekly - lost, hurting, bitter…needing a sign of hope. Some people only go to church on Easter and Christmas - hustle a bit. Leave your office. Stop using COVID as an excuse...
