First time I made a reservation here, I had never even seen this hotel before, and it turned out the location was PERFECT! It's in a mostly residential area, surrounded by a large field. I felt 100% safe in that area. Great restaurants within 5-10 minutes! The hotel smelled very nice upon entering, and the lobby area was very clean and welcoming. Front desk staff was super friendly, polite, and seemed genuinely happy to have me there. My room was wonderful, spotlessly clean, had everything I needed. Couch was a little hard, but the bed was very comfortable with soft, fresh smelling sheets. The shower had great pressure and SUPER HOT! The shampoo/conditioner/bodywash dispensers in the shower were so convenient, and the products smelled absolutely divine. Everything I needed was there: fridge, toiletries, big TV with a good picture and it swiveled so I could watch from the couch or the bed. I appreciated that the room had lots of information about the hotel amenities, the restaurant, etc. Using the phone app as a mobile key was quite convenient too. The breakfast was quite good, and it was very crowded at 7:30 am! Hot, steamy sausage, eggs, potatoes were set up at a window with the cook on the other side keeping the pans full. Variety of bagels, muffins, toast, yogurt, cereal; 2 kinds of milk, juices, coffee. Great start to the day! The only small complaint (and not the hotel's fault) was noise in the hall. I could hear people talking really loud, and kids running up and down the hall late at night. It did get quiet at night and I slept great! over the past six or eight months I've stayed here several times and will continue to do so.

I felt this Hyatt blew hot and cold. The lobby area is quite chic and the staff are really nice. BUT, the room itself felt disconnected from the rest. It felt outdated, a tad depressing with the brown tones, sub-par shower with chipped surfaces, no bedside charging outlets unless you disconnect the alarm and twist your arm...and no microwave! If you need to heat your take out food, you'll have to go to the lone (small) microwave-oven in the breakfast area. The bathroom had no sink and no mirror as they were outside in the room itself. I should mention that this was a disabled-fitted room (didn't book one specifically) so maybe other rooms could have a sink in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was welcomed along with a Starbucks-serving coffee counter. The hotel seems favored by visiting sports teams and their families. But it's also an option for those just transiting through Memphis overnight. It's just outside the Memphis area so if you're needing to spend time in Memphis, may wanna check out closer options. WiFi was strong enough and complimentary. Room rate was reasonable. A gas station with a convenience store is adjacent to the hotel. Location may look isolated but felt quite safe. If they can improve the room itself (which is where you spend most of your time at a hotel), this could become a very good accomodation.

It's clean, staff are nice but it's a standard hotel. Nothing special. What really frustrated me was the bright spotlights outside pollute the room with too much light so it never gets dark in the room for a proper sleep. The blinds and curtain don't block out the light sufficiently. They need better blackout curtains and blinds. Sleeping in that amount of light is actually really bad for your health. I also asked the front desk if they had an eye mask because of their little sign that says to ask if you forgot something. Well they don't have eye masks, so have fun sleeping in bright lights at night. I attached photos so you could see how bad the light pollution is at night. And no that's not sunrise sunshine light coming through the curtains! I also did a workout in the fitness room. It's very limited equipment in a very small space. They could 100% fit a corner pulley machine in there. All they have is a small dumbbell set, a cheap bench, and some cardio equipment. There is not enough room for a full arms stretched out DB Fly where they have the bench sitting. They should also add some mats for any floor work as there are none. My job is 100% travel and I live in hotels for the majority of the year. They could do much better on their gym!

Each ๐ŸŒŸis graded separately

Curb Appeal ๐ŸŒŸ Cleanliness Foyer & Hallways & ROOM๐ŸŒŸ Staff๐ŸŒŸ Pet Friendly ๐ŸŒŸ Atmosphere ๐ŸŒŸ Breakfast ๐ŸŒŸ

Curb Appeal: BEAUTIFULLY manicured Not just only the front, the entire grounds was free of trash its obvious you all know that the first impression is a make or breaker.

Appearance: Cleanliness of the insides of the Hotel, foyer, elevator hall & walk ways and the rooms were very clean. The air had a clean, and a fresh smell. Trust me I am not impressed with just clean surfaces, I am very observant. I look at base boards, behind the restroom doors in the corners for spider webs, look in the window seals for dead flies etc...

Staff: The mornings that we were there , the staff was pleasant, approchable, friendly, and courtious. Their appearance was neat and clean. 4 of the staff members really stood out and I would greatly appreciate it if you all would acknowledge them be it just by kind words, a free night stay, monetary gift, announcement in some type of way to let them know how they represented the Hyatt. Ms. Helen, Ms Barabara, Ms. Virginia and the Manager Mr. Sam. After the breakfast was over the ENTIRE staff was working in some type of capcity getting the dining area back into top condition. They were sweeping , moping, wiping down the counter tops, the hot & cold area, and I also saw one employee wiping off the chair covers, Impressive. Oh Mr. Sam the Manager was the person mopping. AWESOME !!

Breakfast: Appealing to the eyes. Hot food was hot, and the cold food was cold. Very very good and a tasty braekfast. The food line was clean free of spilled food, if something was spilled Ms.Helen was right there. I actually witnessed her assisting a child maybe 8 or 9 yrs of age, with putting some eggs on his plate. But what really moved me was the staff alone with the manager was walking around taking your empty plates to the trash for the guest . That put you all in a 5 ๐ŸŒŸstatus for me. Only ๐Ÿ˜”feeling I had was that next morning I knew I was going to smell and see some crispy bacon on the line, but there wasn't any bacon no where to be found ๐Ÿ˜”๐Ÿ˜” That was ok because you know what I didn't need to be eating that anyway ๐Ÿ˜ I haven't had any bacon in 53 days but I said since I was going to be on vacation I was going to enjoy and not watch my calories. So I can say now it's been 54 days.

Pet Friendly๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Been to many hotels that are pet friendly and soon as you walk into your room you can SMELL the strong and harsh chemicals that they try to cover the smell, even thou it takes the urine smell away BUT the cleaning chemicals puts me on high alert mode. ๐Ÿ‘€ & ๐Ÿ‘ƒ. Yes my 4 legged son was very comfortable.

This was OUR experience, Mr & Mrs. Torance & Raven Crawford, Mr & Mrs Terence & Deashley Crawford Jr. and Mr & Mrs. Terence & Arleatha Crawford Sr. We all would like to thank the entire staff at the Hyatt Place in Germantown on Winchester in Memphis Tennessee!

BECAUSE of the staff at this place we will give other Hyatts a chance. Big ๐Ÿ‘ž๐Ÿ‘ to fill but I challenge all Hyatts and other Hotels.

Noooooooo I am sooo far from being OCD or anal, meaning I don't look for problems, it will eventually show . You can a fake a warm welcome but it will not be - long before we really see your true ways. THANK YOU ALL!!! Mrs....

Checked in to find Remote to TV doesnโ€™t work โ€“ maintenance guy brought a new one and he has quite an attitude and is very rude, wanting to play with the broken remote (wasting my time) versus giving me the replacement remote. Then he accuses me of "snatching" the remote from him. Very unprofessional! Shower has Half of a shower door, so water is all over the bathroomfloor. What a silly design! Why not a full shower door?? Rediculous!! Swapped to a New room which had a tub (versus shower) with a shower curtain. This worked. Phyllis came up to help me swap to the new room. Thank God for Phyllis Joiner (manager). She seemed to really care and did her best to fix issues. Too bad they canโ€™t clone Phyllis and have one at every Hyatt. Rest of the staff seemed dis-interested, distracted, and disengaged. Shame! Good luck working your cloths in the weird closet. The opening to the closet is small, and you have to stretch and reach in to use it. Weird and not very ergonomically friendly. Ask for slip-matt for the shower โ€“ very slick. I almost slipped. This is a law suit waiting to happen for all hotels. Tub slip-matt should be standard in ALL rooms. Wake up!! Breakfast โ€“ milk is warm. Staff clueless, and in the back talking with each other. Internet went out in the evening. Front desk girl suggested it was due to security software on my laptop. HA!!! I am a 35 year experienced and degreed software engineer โ€“ I know better. But the front desk hotel girl wants to offer me a lesson on laptop security software that prevents internet access. Ha, ha, ha! Besides, I was on the internet on my laptop AND iPad the previous night and that same day during my lunch break. Poor service, and even silly that staff makes excuses versus fixing the internet issue. Phyllis got word about the internet outage and actually called me in my room at 10pm to apologize and offer amends. She is a GREAT hotel manager. Too bad she doesnโ€™t have the staff to back her up. Overall - this hotel is a STINKER and I won't consider returning! Shame. A waste for me to be a Hyatt Gold Passport member. I will try Marriott &...

The level of hospitality that I experienced during my stay was truly unparalleled, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best experiences of my life. The front representatives, Ron & Simon, were an absolute gem and went above and beyond to make sure that not only I, but my entire family, were taken care of during a very difficult time. From the moment we checked in, Ron & Simon were there to greet us with a warm and welcoming smile. He made us feel immediately at home, and we knew that we were in good hands. He took the time to listen to our needs, and he was incredibly empathetic and understanding throughout our stay. One thing that really stood out to me about Ron & Simon was his attention to detail. He made sure that we had everything we needed, from extra blankets and pillows to restaurant recommendations and transportation arrangements. He even went out of his way to arrange for a special meal to be delivered to our room on the night of the funeral, which was a very thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. In addition to his exceptional customer service skills, Ron was also extremely knowledgeable about the hotel and the surrounding area. He provided us with insider tips and recommendations that really enhanced our stay and made us feel like we were getting a true local experience. Overall, I have to say that Ron & Simon were the best hotel representatives I have ever dealt with. And trust me, I have been to hundreds of hotels in my life! His level of dedication, attention to detail, and genuine care for his guests was truly unmatched. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional hospitality experience, and I hope that everyone has the opportunity to meet someone as wonderful as Ron & Simon during...
