š¶Great venueš¶ mostly so long as you get a, b, c, or d area seating then you not only have amazing views butā¦. You also gain access to the running water bathrooms instead of the portable pottyās (huge for a lot of people) drinks are pricey just like at all venues 22$ for a shaker vodka lemonade, 18$ for a tall boy Truly or other Beers/Hard Seltzerās. Didnāt even bother looking at the food prices since we ate beforehand. But thereās a wide variety and they stay open past the concert ends to grab something on the way out since they offer camping onsite now for a fee of course. Something I would look into for next year instead of a hotel and a Lyft/Uber rides which got expensive. !!!š¶AMAZING ACOUSTICS NO MATTER WHERE YOU AREš¶!!! ADVICE: You can schedule a ride to and from a week ahead of time on Lyft for the venue entrance (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) we forgot to do this for the ride back to the hotel this time around and spent over an hour and a half after the concert waiting at the entrance for one of the two companies which kept raising their prices by the minute till we got extremely lucky with a Laconia cab company that had just finished a trip and swung by and got us for only 21$ vs Lyft was going to be 66$ at that point. Push comes to shove this venue is great for all ages. Even if you canāt afford to pay for the sections I mentioned for a concert you really want to see , wait until three days before and TRUST there will be those areas for 3/4 the price they paid because they canāt make it or bought too many thinking they would make money and now just want to make some sort of money back and those seats that were 300$ will be 90$. Or chill with a rental lawn chairs with the great people up on the lawn itās always a good time up there too! Thatās what makes The Pavilion such a great place, if you are easy going and donāt let little things like being far from the stage but still being there affect you then you belong here. Everyone is always chill, never seen a fight, actually saw some kindness at the last concert (DMB), someone who was vertically challenged had three 6 foot tall people seated in front of her and her two friends and they noticed even standing up their views were completely obstructed even for the big screens so they offered to switch so they could enjoy the show. I was actually shocked. So kindness is definitely out there within this venues participants too which is always good to know!! Okay that concludes my extremely long and elaborate review of Gilford NH Bank of NH Pavilion!! Hope that it helps...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI attended the Revolution 3 Tour, featuring The Cult, Bush, and Stone Temple Pilots on Thurs. Aug 2nd, and it was my first time at this venue. I must say, I am beyond pleased. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by parking lot attendants scanning the parking passes. The woman was very nice, and guiding in showing me where to go after getting my ticket scanned. When in pull into the lot, there is a man directing each indivuial where to park. Very patient and helpful. While walking towards the venue, I was stopped about 3 times by different parking attendants telling me that lawn seat ticketholders (I was carrying a bulky lawn chair) were able to be upgraded under the pavillion area, and wanted to make sure I was aware of that before entering the venue, but I brought it with me anyway.
Once I was finally beyond the entry gates, I begin moving towards the lawn seating, and get informed once again about the upgrade, and am given a ticket by one of the ushers. She noticed that I was a decent-sized individual with a bulky lawn chair, so she went out of her way to look through the stack of tickets for an aisle seat so that I would have enough space for everything, without being asked. She also informed me that another set of ushers at the top of the seating bowl would be able to hold onto my chair until the end of the show. I go along that path because the seat was too good to pass up. The seats are comfortable, big, and have plenty of legroom, but the only notable problem is that they don't have cup holders. In a concert venue where people are standing most of the time, cupholders should exist so beverages don't accidentally get kicked down the seating bowl.
During the intermission between Bush and STP, one usher was walking up and down the aisle picking up trash, something I have never seen done before anywhere. He asked me to make sure I was done with my water bottle, and food plate before picking it up off of the ground. It was a very nice gesture.
I got up from my seat before the end of the final set when it was dark, and as I was walking up the ramp, an usher shined his flashlight down on the ground, illuminating the step to make sure I saw it, and did not fall and hurt myself or others.
The staff was incredibly professional, accommodating, and kind all night. I cannot wait for my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis outdoor venue is amazing! ššššš I had never been here before and happened to win some tickets to see Pentatonix. For a change, I had the night off and I'm so glad I went! They have a variety of areas to sit (we were under the roof near the back but they also have grassy areas beyond that where you can sit and the Bank of NH seems to supply some lawn chairs for that area) GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: ⢠Parking costs and if you didn't pay for parking before arrival, you can pay there. It was $15 which I felt was relatively reasonable. ⢠There is a size limit on the bags you can bring into the event. The largest size being 5.5" x 8" (about the size of a piece of paper folded in half). ⢠Sealed bottles of water are allowed or empty bottles. They have filtered water filling stations inside. ⢠Bring a lot of cash or a credit or debit card if you plan to buy food or drinks. A small alcoholic mixed drink was $15. They also have souvenir shops, a fried bread dough stand, hot dogs, hamburgers, beer, etc. ⢠There are a lot of porta-potties in the parking lots so I feared that was the only type of bathrooms that would be available... I was wrong! There are at least 3 separate restrooms in the complex. They are clean and well lit. ⢠Upon leaving, watch the parking lot. The lane to leave for my side of the lot wasn't moving at all but I could see on the complete other end of the lot, they had somehow managed to get nearly every vehicle out! I drove around the lane that was at a standstill and across the now empty lot and was out on the main road in no time! Had I waited in that lane, it's highly likely I would have been there at least another 30 minutes. OVERALL: I would gladly buy my next pair of tickets to a show here! It was a fun experience! A rainy night it may be less fun (particularly for those with lawn seats) but having an assigned seat under the roof was so nice! I think they must also pipe out some sort of bug repellent as I didn't end up with any bug bites - despite being outside for...
