GREAT! I honestly got out of mtg for many reasons but this shop made it fun to me again. Here's some of my reasoning.

Great staff that is polite,friendly, and that GENUINELY CARES about the happiness of their customer+player base . They are from my experience actually interested in learning what makes their customers happy and push them to grow in a healthy way. They seem to just want people to enjoy the products not just spend money.

VERY FAIR pricing on everything which is great considering how expensive nerd gaming got during covid. & THAT GOES FOR SELLING AND BUYING PRODUCTS .

It's CLEAN and doesn't have that funky dank smell you can get from a card shop sometimes.

Huge selection that's very broad for the types of games and things like comics for the comic portion of the store(which also was very fair priced)

Welcoming! Now this is to me my experience from the staff and the player base. I have never been the type to want to shake every one of my opponents hands after a match but I did! That really stood out to me .

Diversity. This also goes to the player base . A lot of shops can get stuck as a commander only or one format kind of store but here everyone I talked to was way more open to trying new things or were playing different things. Honestly it's the first shop in years that I personally felt would be -good for meeting friends & VERY good for NEW PLAYERS of all types of games .

Family friendly and MANY EVENTS that even help other local businesses and entrepreneurs.

Overall I felt I needed to write a review which I'm not the type to normally - to express to those wondering if they should check this place out.

If you want to FRESHEN up your life and get back to socializing (think of when you were a kid playing board games with your fam or friends)-etc , meet new people, or expand your interests or possible new hobbies

I highly suggest making a visit . Honestly if they had a slogan I swear it would be like"for the people"

Theres typically someone to ring you out for purchases all day but the card shop staff comes in the evenings if you want to trade...

Well - the first few trips to sell cards here were great. In and out relatively quickly, and a fair offer was given each time. Good business. The last two or three trips to J and J (mind you I live closer to about a dozen other card shops but have been going to this one because I appreciated the fair offers and quick deals) they seem to be "too busy" to take a look at a dozen or less cards and make an offer. They insist on holding them for 24-48 hours while they fit the card analysis into their absurdly busy schedules. Laughable. Smugness drowns businesses...I've got squishy shoes after this last trip in. Last time I even bother stopping in. Narcissistic vibes through the roof these days in that joint, yet reeks of bad credit and Discover cards.

Yes I was quite aggravated that I traveled as far as I did to visit your shop again and again and you couldn't find the time to look at 10 cards each time. I was never rude until the condescendion started. I never once demanded anything of anyone. In fact my exact words were, "Hey, do you have a minute to check out a couple cards?" Never once demanded anyone do anything.

I've ran my own businesses since highschool and know for a fact this is not how you ensure the longevity of one. You let your employees talk to customers on the phone like they're peasants, you change policies in the blink of an eye then act like the customer is stupid for not knowing this. Even though you have time and time again done otherwise. Every time I went in you guys checked out my cards and made an offer right away that's why I kept coming back. Suddenly that's not how it works and you expect me to make the trip twice because you want to hold my cards for 24 hours...do the buy offers include gas money and time compensation now? I bill my clients at $150/hr for...

This shop is exactly the gold standard for card shops. Ordered two fall out commander precons and some Dragon shield sleeves.

Some backstory — prior to finding J and J gaming Factory, I had been scammed from a Shopify seller for one of these precon decks (mutant menace) when I saw JJGF had a sale on not just this but the science! Deck I was almost completely sold. I was having a difficult time finding these decks anywhere other than reseller prices. After an email and a swift reply from John I was set on buying from them. After my package was picked up we went through some difficulties with the post office missing a scan and the package basically being in limbo , the team over here was ready for anything! I mean they had a backup order ready to go, replied to my every email (sorry!) and even followed up with the post office ASAP. you can tell the team here treats others exactly how they’d want to be treated. My decks and sleeves arrived today just in time to play with my childhood friends tomorrow, prior to my 4th heart surgery.
