I do see a lot of people rating this Park with 4/5 stars?.. as a dad, I either look for a new park (on Google or Social Media) in LA county or in parts of Arizona to take my daughter & family to, which is why I'm sharing my short experience at Verdugo Park when my family & me visited for our first a few weeks ago. It wasn't too good, compared to so many other parks that my family & me have visited, the grass was too dry, men's restroom was too dirty (family told me women's was also bad) playground didn't have a big enough sun cover over it & was too small for all the kids that were there that day, too many bees close by or on the actual playground & there was a lot trash that could be harmful to kids.. Spacious, clean and beautiful; its a great place for the family. Love the wide grassy areas, multiple play areas, and all the crazy trees!! (Don't litter pls.)
My favorite park in SoCal...maybe I'm being a little biased but its one of the best in my...

For a park this size, and the number of families who use it, the playgrounds are outdated, too small, and very poorly maintained (weeds in the sand, graffiti, and faded paint). Basketball courts are crappy and oddly configured. Oh and parking here is a nightmare. The lots are too small, spread out all over the park, and some even have meters. It is generally busy on weekends for kids birthday parties or family events, given all the tables. If the rest of the amenities were up to par this could be a really nice park, but it just seems like Glendale has...
