I don’t usually have time for complaints. I’d rather put time on compliments. But my experience and another story told by my doughter at the same location just after what she witnessed, made me write this today. I hope it will make a difference for others not to feel what I felt.
I’m a nurse and I always have extra face masks in my car. Today though, I had to take out all out of my car to fit two bikes in it. Later, after my twins bike riding, we wanted to have boba time. As I parked, I’ve realized I only had two masks. I went in with my t-shirt up on my nose and my twins with masks. Before I could explain my situation of not having my own mask, the order taker said that I had to have a real mask and he could not service us. I acknowledged it and continued with saying “I know this is not appropriate but, please, at least hear me out of the 3rd order as it was for my wife and my kids did not know how to order. Here’s the money and my kids for ordering their drinks, I’ll step outside now”. As I was waiting outside, while my kids were experiencing a 1st time ordering and paying for the order, I thought I would wait, get one of kids’ masks, to go back in, and make comments about the staff robotic, not thinking “out of the box” behavior. And I did. All crew of 4 looked at me as if they don’t comprehend what my disturbance was about. I suggested to them that in order to have a better customer service experience you might want to suggest to the management to carry extra masks for desperate parent(s) like me. The only robotic response I got was “I’m sorry sir, we are just following the orders”. The moral of a story to the management is this; It’s good that you hire kids. It’s not only profitable for the business but you give them a chance financially, morally, experience wise...they have to start somewhere, right? BUT! encourage them that they are good, mold them to have common sense, to find opportunities to see what else can be done to make each customer experience as smooth as the smoothies that are provided. If they are not at the level of seeing what else can be done to make things right, take over and lead them by not just telling them what to say “sorry sir this is our protocol”, but provide masks for desperate parent like me as a walking in customer. Now, I’ll be sarcastic; you will never know the amount of the tip you’ll get unless you know what your client is looking for! Have your masks ready in your car. Or else, you might spend time on writing...
Read moreI had a horrible experience there today. My kids wanted boba so we decided to support our small business in the neighborhood so we went to Bobo Time. My kid had to pee really bad so I put in my order and gave the register guy $100 and told him hold on to the money I'm gunna run across the street to Starbucks so my kid can use the bathroom. The register guy looked at me like no we don't take $100 bills here after couple mins the owner walks in so I was like koo the owner will take care of this . And I ran across the street to Starbucks so my kid can use the bathroom when I got back the employee tells me no we can't take your money dis and that The other employees already started making the drinks . I don't understand what the problem was it's not like my money was fake and I'm willing to pay for my drinks so they denied me of service I'm sure they wasted the drinks and throw it away when they could of just gave it to my kids and made there they . But no we had to leave from there with me having to explain why they didn't wanna take our money and wasted the drinks throwing them away . You just lost 3 loyal customers. Keep up...
Read moreWas visiting the area for work and decided to stop and check this place out....Lets just say I'll be visiting this spot 2 times (First & Last)!!!! First the customer service was poor. The guy who took my order kept rushing me to place my order and seemed bothered by me asking about an item on the menu (mind you there was nobody behind me in line and as mentioned earlier this was my first time here).
I decided to order a large thai tea with boba which came out to $5.50. After paying for my drink i asked if i could have it blended instead of served over ice (this was asked before anyone even started making my drink).....GET THIS, they said sure but that will be an extra $1.50!!!!! $6.50 Are they joking, thats more than a double shot expresso at a nearby coffee shop that rhymes with "barbucks" ......I wasnt asking for extra ingredients or anything over the top, i was hoping they could take my drink and blend it for 5 seconds!!!!
I declined the extr charge and will make it a point never to visit this place again........
Oh and the drink was nothing special and tasted watered...
