I have been a customer for many years since it was Wagner's and lover thier service. I have always trusted thier repair service. This has ended with Village Outdoor repair service! Thier repair people have been nothing but unprofessional and down right short and terse with my customer interactions. I owned a plumbing company before I sold and retired and if any of my employees would treat my customers the way the treated me they would be in trouble. I brought two pieces of equipment in for service, within 10 days the first was repaired. Now six weeks since I brought them in and they have not looked at the second piece. I was told they will repair it when they can and I pointed out it has been 6 weeks he angerly told me if I don't like it I can come pick it up. The piece of equipment is a snowblower and he told me I don't need it right now anyway ( December 7th) poor customer service! The snowblower was for my house in Florence County where we have several inches of snow! I brought the snow blower home in October for repair to be prepared but the Village Outdoor guy knows best! This place kept my lawn tractor for over a month and they fail to call and let me know it that it had been fixed and ready for Drop off. when i went in to pay for the service i was told that my check was not approved so l had to go to the bank and withdraw money. i was also told by my bank that my account was fine. I went back to the store and informed a gentleman, I’m not sure of his name but I told him that they have a problem with their TeleCheck system. He would not apologize for the inconvenience of me having to leave and go to the bank because he did not feel like I was inconvenienced. and he felt like he had no reason to apologize for anything. The next day my tractor was dropped off and when I started it the blades were not turning for me to cut the grass. someone else had to come back out to my house and pick up the tractor again now I’m sitting here with no Tractor and my lawn looks awful.This has been an absolutely horrible experience and I don’t think that I will be doing business...
Read moreOld lawnmower didn’t start and took it here based on the positive reviews. I was told they were about 3 weeks behind in diagnosing movers. After a month and no call, I called them to get a status update. Whoever answered didn’t know and said he would call back because the work should have been done by now. No call back came so I went over-found out they had written my phone number down wrong. Turns out the mover was not worth fixing, so I bought a new one there mainly because I could apply the old mover diagnosis fee to the purchase. New mover had the starter cable loop installed wrong-I guess double checking details...
