Goody Gourmets — Local services in Glendale

Went there today. My popcorn was overly chewy and the caramel popcorn was sticking to the bottom of my teeth. I called and complained letting them know what my problem was and she said I can come back for a refund when I came inside i smelled popcorn, and the guy behind the counter ask what was wrong I told him my popcorn, taste, stale, and I will take the freshest batch they had. The man challenges me back-and-forth about which popcorn, taste, stale and why don’t I have a receipt even though I told him that I can show him the purchase on my phone. He proceeds to shake his head and asked me what part what was wrong with the even though I stated it when I walked in the door. One of the taller ladies comes from the back and tells me that if the popcorn taste stale earlier, it’s gonna taste stale again and she also said that the popcorn was made fresh daily .I told him I did not come all the way to Glendale to argue about a bag of $10 popcorn. As I’m looking at the containers, they were almost full of popcorn, which they weren’t when I came in earlier to get my popcorn. Also, if popcorn is made fresh every day, why is there a popcorn beer pop at 6:15 at night and you close at 7 PM with containers full of popcorn . I really can’t believe all of this happened over popcorn when I clearly said when I walk through the door that I will take whatever was the freshest popcorn you had so that I can be in and out and get my children home.. I won’t...

The popcorn was fresh and was good mix of carmel and Cheddar. Competes with my former favorite Buddy Squirrel popcorn.

However, sooooo disappointed in the recent experience at the Glendale location. In short, yesterday, I found a hair once I made it about half way through the bag. I emailed them photos and the video immediately. Had to follow-up towards the end of the day as I hadn't heard from them. I was told to bring the bag in, and they would give me a new bag of the carmel & cheese mix. I did that after work and you would think there would have been a refund or something extra for the serious inconvenience and awful mess up.

I gave it 2 stars solely because it is good, and in the past I had positive experiences. This time though... I was disgusted but more...

I've been rocking with Goodie Gourmet since they opened and have ALWAYS loved their popcorn. Although I no longer live in Milwaukee, I got people outside of Milwaukee eating and loving it so when I'm there I always bring plenty back. I recently purchased a $16 bag of Cheese and Carmel to eat it here in Georgia and basically got a bag of all cheese popcorn with just "a little" of Carmel. GG, if I wanted all cheese I would have purchased it. And, If I knew it would be like this, I would have bought a separate bag of Carmel hence it is supposed to be a mix of both?!? People understand inflation and will pay for what we want regardless of price. So Please don't cheat us. Btw .. the Carmel even isn't as thick on the popcorn as...
