I was in town for the local tournament and my campsite was a few minutes from this course so I got to spend a lot of time here and really began to like it the more I played. There isn’t much for wooded holes but nearly every hole (except 8) had obstacles in the form of trees configured in a manor making it a challenge as opposed to just being wide open fairways. Each hole had two concrete pads (except hole 1) giving you a variety of looks and distances depending on your skill level. There are very well maintained signs at every amateur pad showing par and distance. I do not recall seeing signs at the pro pads but there is a large sign by the parking lot with the distances from each tee pad and a map.
There is a practice basket and a large field for practicing in. This course is cart friendly and consists of all grass fairways. There are a few holes were errant shots could go into the woods or tall grass outlining the park but overall a good course for beginners and up.
This course is tucked back in a subdivision and I was there either very early in the morning or very late so I never saw other people playing the course, other than those practicing for the tournament too. There are walking paths that wind through the course and there were several walkers in the morning. I wasn't sure when the park closed at night when I was there but I still played late into the night. This is a forgiving course for glow rounds.
By myself, one round took less than 25 minutes. Giving this a high 4 stars but really deserves a 3.5 rating. I wouldn’t drive more than 20 minutes to play this course but if I lived in the subdivision this is in, I could see myself playing this...
