Nice for a walk, picnic or fishing. Came here looking to have a picnic and play with my toddler. Based on the reviews I read that said "play area could use some updating" and the photos of the other areas of the park I figured it was probably okay. Play area is flat out unsafe for children and should be torn out... Tear out the sorry excuse for tennis courts while your at it and put in a proper playground and this park would be amazing. The rest of the park was clean and nice... Only when I came down to this area was it littered with trash and God knows what else you might find if you ran your hands down into the pea gravel. There are so many displays for all ages to learn from that your head will spin and your brain will be challenged. This is our nation's largest hydroelectric dam. There is frisbee golf if that is your thing along with a basketball court, tennis court and plenty of lawn to enjoy. Two baseball fields if you need to get some practice in. Gondola to park under with a grill to bbq on with a bathroom close by. Great in the summer if you are looking to have a picnic with family...
