It is a very short trail, if there was rain it can be muddy and a little precarious if you don't have good footing. It is only a mile long but has lots of great views. A perfect hike if you haven't hiked in a while or are new to it. You walk across the river on the old cement bridge with railing and so begins the trail. It ends at the park to the East which has a little island. On Google maps this park is right next to the East ledges Trailhead (which is where you end along the trail). Note this is supposed to be foot travel only some idiots bike it, please don't in order to stop erosion. Thank you for listening to my PSA.

Lots of trails at this park overall. I was honestly blown away by how well kept it was and the views! Who would have thought there would be rock cliffs and ledges in the middle of Michigan? The dam looked just like a waterfall and the colors in October are spectacular. I found a crawfish, redback salamanders, and friendly squirrels. It was very peaceful- just what I needed to recuperate from college life.

These were absolutely beautiful walking trails. The formations of rocks were quite beautiful. Even saw a hawk perched in a high tree. The railway through the walking trails was beautiful.

The stairs to the trail are currently closed but people were going around the gate and descending the unsafe terrain anyway. In my opinion, the city is setting itself up for a lawsuit if someone gets hurt there. As for me and my wife, our common sense is smart enough to avoid walking down the...
