2 stars โ While the venue's logistics were well-planned, the staff's behavior was shockingly rude. Entering the venue, the ticket attendant was kind, but security quickly soured the experience with their aggressive attitude. My friend and I were yelled at for moving "too slow" in a nearly empty entrance area.
Inside, the ushers and food service were helpful, and I appreciated the plant-based food options and the smart decision to convert a men's bathroom for female use due to the concertโs audience skewing towards the that demographic.
However, leaving the venue was frustrating. I was in the lot across the street and followed a line of cars leaving the parking lot to an exit Google Maps directed me to. When it was my turn at the front of the line I just then noticed the orange cones the other cars ignored. Suddenly, out of no where a lot attendant from across the street comes running up to the cones waving her arms and yelled "YOU CAN'T GO THERE!!! BACK UP!!!!" and then before I am even able to process what was happening and shift my gear to reverse, this lady stares daggers at me with raging aggression as if I had just threatened her family and shrieks "NOWWWWWW!!!!!!" I genuinely was not trying to break any rules or "outsmart traffic" (there wasn't any, it was a very calm parking situation). I made an honest mistake - there was no need to react like a Karen in a viral freakout video! Just politely direct me to turn around. It was overall just a very unnecessary, rude reaction. To that lot attendant, I hope you enjoyed your power trip, princess. For additional context, there was only 1 attendant in that lot and she was in the opposite end. As a result, if you back out the car and go the opposite direction from her, you would have never seen her so there was room for error in understanding the exit situation!
Overall, I firmly feel that I shouldn't have to deal with feeling like I am in an area full of prison guards on a power trip just to see one of my favorite artists. This venue did everything to be ready for crowd control and do things efficiently but they forgot the main thing when it comes to hosting an event: the attendees are GUESTS. I don't expect to be waited on hand and foot but I do expect to be treated with decency and respect - and I don't think that should be that big of an ask. To this venue's manager, I encourage you to take my review as constructive criticism and have a chat with your team about ways that can still do a great job while treating the attendees with respect. For your reference, this was the Friday night of the Mitski concert (9/13/24) & the lot attendant that had the inappropriate reaction I believe had brown hair and glasses. I would greatly appreciate it if you spoke to security and the parking attendants from that night and advise them to be kinder to guests. Additionally, in the future perhaps add another attendant to the lot across the street to avoid another situation happening again. Otherwise, I'd like to thank you for all the logistics that were thought of in advance to make things easier on the guests. Thank you for listening to...
ย ย ย Read moreI went to the groove fest concert and the parking was easy and reasonable. Getting through the door was quick, and hassle free, I'm really starting to LOVE this place what could go wrong? I did read the reviews and I expected the bad reception for my phone since I don't have Verizon, (that's true, going "live" will NOT work in the theatre) I was good with that part. My sister got drinks and they were NICE, just the right amount of alcohol not TOO pricey. We were escorted to our seats and I was ok TILL the attendant stuck a folding chair on the side of the two seater. YES, a folding chair, I paid over $300.00 for one regular seat and a folding chair. My sister was O.K.with it since it was a SURPRISE birthday gift. I on the other hand was LIVID!!! Before, I could complain real good a couple appeared and YEP the lady sat next to me and the attendant brought another folding chair to put on the side of HER for the husband. Had this NOT been a great concert, I would have given this place a negative 1. That's the most RATCHET, LOW BUDGET, TACKY seating system EVER created. The seats would have been perfect being a two seater, nobody behind us, semi middle section, we didn't have to get up to let people through, it was GREAT, but to add folding chairs on the sides (especially without a disclaimer) is so low down and DIRTY. To add insult to injury, a guy walked by and was like those are good seats. "Let's trade" was my reply. The lighting on the stage was BAD, you won't get good pictures or videos (Could be my phone, it's been a while since I did an upgrade LOL, I doubt it). The sound was good, temperature was excellent, nice spacious place and overall the concert was excellent, even getting out the lot after the concert went pretty good (be aggressive). Please pay attention to the seating chart, CALL the place before purchasing two seats (would be my only advice), if your patience is low for after flow traffic pay for VIP parking. I plan on going back again now that I'm...
ย ย ย Read moreLet me start by saying my wife and I REALLY enjoy this venue. It is perfect to go see your favorite artist or show. With that said, our most recent experience was not pleasant. We recently attended the Dwight Yoakam show and it was great. The issue we had was with staff and security. During the show, a large fight broke out amongst 8-10 adult males approximately 30 feet from where we were sitting. The fight progressed for probably 60-90 seconds and staff members had not responded yet. When we had entered the venue earlier that evening there were two uniformed police officers in the lobby. After the fight had reached nearly 2 minutes in length I got up and went to the lobby to see if the police were still there. They were standing right where we had seen them upon entry. I asked them if they had gotten any reports from staff yet that there was a large fight happening? They said they hadn't heard a word. I then told them that the fight was still actively occurring and they did immediately respond. Once they made it to the area, the fight had ended and they basically looked around and shrugged their shoulders and went back to the lobby. Meanwhile, one staff member had shown up that I could see. I had my wife and elderly mother with me and was none-too-pleased with the venue's response. Once things had calmed down, we enjoyed the rest of the show without incident. As the show was starting to finish with only a handful of songs remaining, attendees started to get up and exit the venue. I noticed two staff members not directing any foot traffic, nor assisting concert goers. One was recording part of the show on their cell phone and singing along to the music and another was seen reading a book with a flashlight. We really do enjoy this establishment, but this was a big miss from TTCUT staff and security and the safety of guests...
