Really disappointing... The buffet price is not as shown on the website. Instead of being $26 -$32, it is now $32 - $36, does NOT include any drink, and has a 19% service fee PLUS sales tax. This is after you pay $14 just for a ticket - just to sit in the dining area. Because the “service fee” is automatically added, the waitstaff has no reason to give good service. Expect them to stand in a circle on the 4th floor, talking, instead of being available and serving you. When we made reservations, we explained that we had two disabled individuals. When we arrived, no one was available to direct us through the third floor, so that these two disabled folks would not have to navigate two flights of stairs. Finally, one guy showed up but didn’t have a clue. We went back and forth between floors on the elevator, trying to find someone. Finally we went back up to the 4th floor, then a girl took us back to the 3rd floor!? - after the disabled guy had already walked a terribly long distance trying to get anyone to help us. We navigated through the kitchen and yes- up a flight of stairs- to the assigned seating!? The only other option was to sit in the smoking section (NO!). And the buffet was on the 4th floor, a long walk to the back - 2 flights of stairs - and impossible for our disabled folks. The buffet had a few good elements, such as the carved prime rib and Blue Bell ice cream. Otherwise, not so great (Golden Corral, basically) and certainly not worth the price. Ordering off the menu gets you a pretty quality high priced sandwich. As far as being a nice inside area to sit and bet on the horses, it’s okay. Go for the first level if you are going to do this. As far as the betting and the horses, just enjoy your time. Even if you win, there’s little chance that you’ll score enough to cover your bet. ($18 bet paid $17 on a three-way.) The $15 valet parking was the best thing we...
Read moreI have gone there twice,it is very nice and the buffet is very delicious. The 2 times we went they charge us $15.dlls per person, great seats too. The 3rd time we went was a Friday they charge us 30dlls per person. I ask the lady why the charge went up, she didn't know nothing, but that they couldn't charge us 15dlls.@ Silks. I ask to speak to the manager the manager never came by, we got terrible seats. You need to training your people about why, when, where, what, and be more knowledge about what changes have been made. And tell the managers to do there jobs. And help there customers when being ask to speak to them, not go into...
Read moreWe went to Silks yesterday, 06/25/2023. The buffet was a shadow of it's former self. I think they are just cleaning out the coolers for the end of the season, and throwing anything they can find on the buffet line. Two choices of wilted, browning leaf salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, and chicken salad. Hot buffet was a melange of boiled potatoes and fajita meat, with a gloppy chicken dish at the end. One tray of watery pasta, and a dessert table with bite sized samples, and ice cream. No pie or cake anymore. It was just so unappetizing, but the $65 a person is what really stung. Silks has seen much better days. If you do go, bring...
