First time here. Discussed with staff about the possibility of adding more time onto our ticket if my duaghter enjoyed it. We were told we could add more time as they didnt close till 9PM. I purchased a 1 hour play ticket for my daughter at 6:45. She was having a great time playing on the spinning chairs when the lights went out at 7:37(I was taking a video of my daughter and have the time stamp). A group of staff members walked around a few minutes later and upon asking them why the lights were shut off we got told that "Oh we only stay open if we have enough families here, and you're the only ones left. It says it on the website" First off, no it does not, it says "Our hours may vary during holidays and school vacations! To ensure you have the most current information, please give us a call!". Not a single mention of closing early if they're slow. This is also after confirming they were open until 9 when we checked in! The manager (Madison?) then asks us what time we checked in at even though she was the one to check us in. She claimed to have given us a sticker for my daughter to wear (she didnt). She tried telling us that our time had ended and that they shut the lights off to "get people to go put on their shoes". We still had 8 minutes on our ticket AND had been told we had the option of extending our stay. I asked her to go check it and sure enough she came back 5 minutes later with a time slip printed at 7:43 saying we had a ticket good until 7:45. She then kept trying to gaslight us and tell us that they didnt shut the lights off until after our time ended. I asked for a manager and she played the "I'm the manager" card. I then asked her if their would be a higher manager tomorrow and she stalled for a few more minutes before confirming so. We left after that. Shutting off lights with kids in already dark playsets is a safety issue and is a guarantee that I will be telling every other parent I know to steer clear of this place and its morally corrupt management. Who shuts off the lights to get customers to leave? What kind of psychopathic move is that? Customers that were still well in their time alotment too.
Tl;dr: dont come here at night unless you want to risk getting the lights turned off on you and get gaslighted into believing that it's somehow a normal...
Read moreI took the kids here today to try something new. Until I noticed multiple coworkers come up to the kids and talk to them. Well apparently doing flips isn’t allowed, but that’s not why the 1 star is being given. After asking one of the workers where the rules are, he advised that there aren’t any up and they are the ones that just let the kids know (okay great) after that conversation one of the other workers came up to me to ask me if everything was alright. I told her I asked the gentleman where the rules for jumping were, she explained it was in the banner right by the stairs ( I read that banner, and no it didn’t, and it’s pictured below) after reading it herself she also seemed to be at a loss for words. So here’s where the 1star comes in: she calls the manager over (Hunter) and we begin to talk about the rules. I advise that what he has up compared to what’s being allowed are very different. He then tells me that it’s an old sign and the new ones just haven’t been put up yet. He also goes on to say that back flips aren’t allowed but back handsprings and cartwheels are. I advised him that the workers yelled at the kids for doing those things as well and even advised they would be kicked out if they continued and this was after some workers told the kids that what they were doing was okay. I advised it was very confusing for the kids to understand (he blamed it on lack of training and knowledge). I continued to ask some clarifying questions and Hunter told me if I was going to keep on arguing with him then there will be no flips at all. I asked another question he threw his hands in the air and said no more flips and walked away. If there are no flips allowed then there’s no flips allowed and I can respect that, what I can’t respect is a manager that confessed that not all workers are on the same page when it comes to how the place is run and Who also kept contradicting himself and got upset when I asked for clarity because even he realized he couldn’t make his words make sense. Read moreDO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE - DANGEROUS STAFF BEHAVIOR
This was our third visit to Soar n Bounce and while our first two visits were great, what happened during our most recent visit was completely unacceptable.
The sticker system they use to track jump times is poorly designed--especially for young, active kids. Stickers fall off constantly (as you'd expect in a place where kids are literally bouncing around), and instead of updating their system or switching to wristbands like every other trampoline park, they've chosen to police children aggressively over something they know is flawed.
Teen employees repeatedly harassed the kids over fallen stickers, disrupting their play and causing stress. But the real issue was when a manager named Dan (who wasn't in uniform!) approached my young daughter alone and told her she couldn't play--without speaking to a single adult present. She was confused and scared, and she cried. Think about that: a grown man scolding a small child over a sticker that doesn't even stay on properly.
When I called Dan out (while calmly seated), he refused to apologize, took no accountability, and then aggressively charged toward me, escalating the situation unnecessarily. Multiple people had to step between us because of how out of control this so-called manager got. All of this could've been avoided with better policies, better training, and basic human decency.
Dan is not someone who should be working in any child-facing environment. His behavior was unprofessional, unsafe, and frankly disturbing.
Until this place overhauls its check-in system and hires staff who understand how to work with children, avoid it completely. There are plenty of trampoline parks that won't treat your kids--or...
