About a year ago I found out that this museum was going to be open to the public memorial Day weekend and I marked it on my calendar. Normally you have to make an appointment to take it to her. Took my wife's son in law and daughter out there. Love the ride out. The guides at the museum were outstanding with their knowledge of the donor party and showing us the various artifacts that have been gathered over the years. This is a real treasure and would recommend anyone getting together a group or a family and make an appointment to go see it. I loved seeing the old Bible, the old maps of Grantsville with my grandpa's name on it as a city councilman, the old jail, and especially the authentic pioneer wagon. Oh and the "Mormon crickets!" My kids had a good experience and were fascinated by the black smith shop and old cabin. We stopped in on Memorial Day. It was open, no appointment needed.
