Just posting to let everyone know that i recently enter this dog park after coming here for 3 years and had a disappointing experience. Unfortunately i brought two of my dogs over to this park. A golden doodle and a pitbull mix. As we walk in the gates to let them off leash a lady approaches us and says “your bringing that thing in here” and i stated yes i am and as we come in we decide to have the dog on a leash to maintain them for a split second and another lady comes and states the rules. i let her know i was having them on the leash out of courtesy to the lady who was afraid. Not even 10 minutes into being in the park and we have a couple of people telling us to leave the park immediately. Which i was extremely confused since everyone was being extremely rude and disrespectful. As we walked out the gate the same lady came up and said “get your dog out of here” as we are leaving the dog park. i stated yes i am leaving right now and her friends came up and started yelling about how we are not allowed here. Now i have never had an experience like this and i hope no one has to ever go through what i went...
Read moreBrand new so everything works well. The small dog park is big enough for small dogs, but not as big as Freedom Dog Park. The fences are sturdy but aren't embedded into the ground, instead there's a very small space between the bottom and the concrete walkway that goes around the perimeter, so some curious pups could get their head stuck. Large park looks awesome for the big dogs. A few shaded seating areas and with the trees, summers should be tolerable here. Water fountain for people (with bottle filler) and pups also in check. Then there's the kids: they were digging holes in the small dog park and playing on the ramps, so all the dogs had to navigate around them or couldn't use the toys. We had to ask the kids to move off so we could use the ramps. Then the all weather and splash pad paddock had lots of kids playing on the dog tunnels/ramps not caring about the dogs right behind them. C'mon parents - get a clue about the safety of your dogs from kids; it's a dog park not a kid park and you'd be mad that a dog ran rampant through a kids park. Hardened bathrooms near parking lots...
Read moreEdit: returned 2 yrs later to see a broken car window in the parking lot SMH 🤦♀️ they still have people breaking into cars just like mine did there about 2 years ago. Need Better Lighting and Cameras!!! The large dog are is nice with an open field for dogs to run around and lots of trees. The astro turf dog are with the splash pad is ok, but has some issues. No lights in the dog park area, not sure what they expect people to do in the winter when it gets dark early. Trash cans stink, poop is not cleaned up, people are getting cars broken into and items stolen. People bring small kids into dog park with strollers regardless of signs that say not to do it , then they get mad when a large dog knock their kid over. It’s a dog park not a child playground. People are also bringing very young puppies that have not been vaccinated yet into the park. Overall it’s a nice place, just not sure about the upkeep, safety and...
