This is one of the most beautiful trails in North Texas located just miles from DFW International Airport. Wildlife everywhere you look, a beautiful fork of Little Bear Creek, smooth paved trails permit uses from parents out for a walk with their child in a stroller, to joggers, to an occasional bicycle rider. The trails connect to another park along Hwy 360 to the East and Parr Park to the West, part of a trail system that spans Grapevine. The quiet sanctuary of Wall-Farrar Nature Trail was preserved in 2017 from having a road extended and dividing Parr Park and Wall-Farrar Nature Trail, highly contested, but the main thing is this peaceful wilderness will be spared from the cutting of trees and pouring pavement so the wildlife and humans can enjoy this little slice of paradise in the heart of the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex. Once there, enjoy a lovely nature walk or run....

The trail is surrounded by trees, tucked away behind the surrounding neighborhoods and highways. The noise level sucks but I’m not dinging the trail for that; I just love that I have this place as an option, especially as a new mama.
Added bonus: expect to spot butterflies and fireflies during...
