Solid spot. Ive been working nearby for about a month now and I always Goolge taquerias near me cause I survive off tacos. Found a few places but from pictures and menu this one seemed a bit more legit. I walked in to find a packed house one day during normal lunch hour. Decided to grab 2 tripa, 2 barbacoa, 1 chicharron. They were all good. Tripas were cooked right, barbacoa meat was made of correct meat and cooked slowly and that's obvious when you eat it. Chicharron was very savory, soft, and made in its own special sauce. In another occasion I had a torta cubana and it was pretty damn good. Ate half and was full. Very packed with meat and great flavor. Not served with fries but Everything tastes super fresh and hot. Salsas were also good, I got both green and red as always. They give you salsa in baggies tied in a knot which I like. Makes it easy to open it and have a mini squeeze pouch. They have Mexican glass bottle drinks and can sodas as well. I ate there twice and once to go. First time it took a long time to get my food. Like 20+ minutes for like 5 tacos. I saw people get their food before me and I had to get up and ask about my order then received it promptly. Food was good so I went back and ate there again. Two of us sat and had our order taken and given to us in a decent time. Prices are just and food alone is tip worthy. Service has been good except my terrible...

I'm embarrassed that I brought my friend here. We left a convention and got in about 5:00 on a Saturday and decided to stop here for some tacos. We walked in, there isn't a sign, so we just stood at the door for a few minutes with the ladies behind the counter looking at us and not saying anything. After a while I walked up to the counter and the girl behind there just said anywhere. We sat down and a nice lady brought us some chips and salsa, those were pretty good though didn't have any heat. The waitress came along and she couldn't have been more unfriendly. We both ordered taco plates and my friend asked for avocado on hers. She ordered a tripe taco and two carnitas, I ordered a barbacoa carnitas and fajita taco plate. All of the carnitas were burned. Like black crunchy charred the kitchen sent out burnt food. Obviously burnt food. She said her tripe was also burnt and crunchy. The only thing that was redeeming was the barbacoa. The barbacoa was really very good. When the waiters drop down the plates. My friend didn't have avocado on it. She asked about it and the waitress just sit out and walked away. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Their prices are excellent. Their barbacoa was good, but I'm not coming for attitude...

I have a palate. I spent 4 years in corpus christi eating very well prepared Mexican cuisine. I kept things basic with my order, ordering 1 Carne Asada Quesadilla, 1 chicken burrito, 1 guac, 1 queso. All was very below average. Guac had more veg than avocado including lettuce and onion overkill...queso was a joke, no veg in that pretty much just melted orange chz and butter. Dumped it down the sink. Pretty much everything got thrown away. My quesadilla had fatty meat, the burrito was crammed with sour cream and lettuce. The meat was bland, tasteless, waste of $25. Such a dirty, greasy place to eat. Made me and my gf throw up when we ate it at home. I was hoping to find authentic Mexican food but instead found a section 8 mystery as to how the hell the place is still in business. Probably because they launder money through it from their cocaina enterprise. Try Frezkos in...

Found this spot on the way home from the mall! Great place. Gives salsa and chips. The salsa is fresh and delicious! Our server only spoke Spanish and that's how I knew it was gonna be good. I ordered tacos (pastor, tripa, and lengua). They were all delicious! I liked how the tripa was soft yet crunchy. Perfect. The pastor had lots of flavor I feel like I could taste the pineapple. For the lengua I liked the texture of it. The green salsa was my favorite. I liked this place because other taco places I've been they charge more for getting tripa or lengua. I definitely would come back again! It's a solid place if you're wanting a taco fix. Next time I wanna try the drinks! Also they're open late! People were eating dinner past 9! Love it.

Great food & great customer service. Definitely recommend the pastor, barbacoa, tripa & fajita. The carnita tacos was not what I was expecting as far as to how the meat is cut & cooked. Still good, but enjoyed the pastor & fajita the best. Salsa has great flavor. Love the green one. The red is the spicy one. My mouth was on fire yet I still wanted more! 😆 I had an horchata to wash it all down & it did not dissapoint, helped turn down the heat a bit. 😋
