We saw Sound of Music at the Totem Pole and it was excellent! Shippensburg native Luke Reed did a great job directing it and the singing and acting was phenomenal! Comfortable seats air conditioning and concessions were also appreciated! So glad we have great theater so close to home! Give them a try! 🌝🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼

Great people, comfortable setting. Very homey. Jersey Boys was phenomenal with Andrew Ruggieri playing Frankie! Only complain, freezing on there and they had to be told by patrons on multiple nights to turn off blowers!

Amazing avenue!! The gift shops cozy but yet very inviting. The cast and crew were unbelievable!! Highly recommended!! The kids love the concession stand with the popcorn and ice cream.

I am COMPLETELY impressed with this venue (and the show -- Driving Miss Daisy -- was so well done). We drove 1.5 hours to get there, and I am not regretful in any way, shape or form. From the ease of online ticket ordering to the customer service at the playhouse to the clean and well-maintained facilities, everything was spot on. We were greeted warmly by every employee/volunteer with whom we interacted. Even the "sales pitch spiel" that all producing artistic directors must give at the beginning of shows was an unexpected surprise. The passion and exuberance was contagious. You could tell the people involved with Totem Pole Playhouse truly love the landmark and are proud to be associated with it. Though it's a bit of a drive, I WILL be back again. I'm eyeing up a show or two later in the season. (One suggestion: Though you have excellent directions, please add your location address on the top of that webpage for GPS purposes. I had to search the site to pin it...

So my first visit to this location was for Oktoberfest. If you are going to run such an event, you should consult with some actual Germans, or if you did, some Germans with a knack for cooking! I'm not a drinker, so I came with the intent of enjoying some fine beer brats with mash.

Their platters, which were $10 a pop consisted of store bought brats, a spoonful of store-bought potato salad, red cabbage, and some store-bought sauerkraut. The desserts did not get any better. Our cream cake turned out to be store bought as well. There was no variety to anything there, the only options was to buy from their store bought options, and it should not even be allowed to be labeled on Octoberfest. There should be a law...

Basically I was just the coach bus driver for a group attending a show here. Heard it was very nice and well done. The playhouse actually gave me a Starbucks gift card as the driver. They requested that I park in the golf course parking area very close by. Best to circle through their lot to enter the golf course parking and turn around there. DO NOT try to enter the g.c. parking lot from off of U.S. Rt.30! The Google GPS shows it is doable...
