A decent sized park with not much of rides but with waiting times in lines, you can do everything they have. Before I go ahead with things we did and all, it could have been very much better in terms of managing people or lines. Guest services were outside and nothing inside park. We were to buy all day dining pass and while you have to wait for certain restaurants to open to buy them inside, if you wish to buy at gues services, you have to go out and stand in line again to come inside. Certain places you won’t understand where to take tubes and which way to go for rides. For certain rides, staff at bottom of rides doesn’t know on rules at all. While rules on board says glasses with headstrap allowed, lady at entrance says not allowed even with headstrap while guard at top of ride says its allowed. We took single any day admission ticket online at perks for $33 which is best price. Reached at 10:30 AM on sunday while park opens at 11:00 AM. There was a mile long line already by then, line started moving at 10:45 AM itself ofcourse rides started at 11:00 AM exactly. Parking priced at $20 for regular (if you come early, you will get a newrby parking), $25 for vip. Took a locker for $25 ( if you can manage with little stuff to change clothes and all in small cover, you can get a smaller locker at $18) which was good to store a backpack. Lockers are available at multiple locations. We were able to take 3 rides quickly as crowd just started building up. Took all day dining pass for $37 at one of restaurant’s at 12:00 PM and utilized it throughout. If you’re someone who wants to eat and try everything on a sunny day with pizza, icecream, burgers and all, I would recommend this. There is h20 pass which is express lane for certain tides that starts at $35 but if you can wait in lines, you can skip this. All rides were decent with ‘The edge’, ‘bombs away’, ‘daredevil’ were high thrill rides. Definitely worth a visit.

Previously I felt like I was owed a full refund. Management replied to my review however they provided a fake email address to address my concerns. I’m still unable to redeem my snack vouchers from June. Upon entering the park today on Labor Day for the $34.99 Last Splash Deal and previously in June ( on a Saturday ) I was greeted by a long list of attractions that were not operating. Already that is limiting. The weather was perfect there is not a cloud or roll of thunder in sight. Why is the park not fully operational ? I also discovered that they were closing at 5:00 on a Saturday ! Unheard of ! Thank God we arrived a little after opening or it would be money down the drain. We previously purchased the All Day Meal Pass which limits you to eating from 3 of the worst eateries they have to offer at $13.99 which includes a meal, drink and “ a snack “. The meal tickets purposely do not detail where you can purchase your meals or snack. The employees don’t know either. They treated our online meal vouchers like food stamps. We had to walk around to figure out who would accept our meal tickets. My friend gave up on finding the right concession stand and ended up paying for all her food out of pocket after paying for the $13.99 voucher. I was determined to not get played the fool. I stumbled upon Captain Eli’s. Big mistake. The food was terrible and the employees working were miserable. Be smart. Pack a cooler of food and LEAVE IT IN THE CAR. Do not be taken advantage of. When we went to use the snack voucher all of the select snack concession stands were closed for business. The entire day. The only option was funnel cake which is not apart of the snack voucher deal. Only popcorn and pretzels. Today we decided to order a pizza pie from Luigi’s. Freshly made and much better than Captain Eli’s. We also had funnel cakes upon leaving. Pretty good. My other issue is how filthy the place is. There’s no reason the changing area and bathrooms are deplorable!!! The Shripwreck Cove pools and wave pool areas were clean and nice. The rapids tube slides with single, double and triple floats were a good time. My daughter enjoyed Dragon’s Den. After losing 30 minutes to each water slide line it was already 5:00 PM. This is where I feel very cheated. They really are understaffed here and it shows. I will say that the concession stands were better this time because there were no crowds on Labor Day. It drizzled on and off and the park operated on an alternating schedule for rides. Different attractions were alternating hours to please the masses. We had a lot of space to move around this trip because of the holiday. Many people stayed home. The children had a chance to ride the slides and not lose an hour in line. I would rather drive to Wilmington to Jungle Rapids.I will say the music selection by Shripwreck Cove was the best part.

Pros: -Easy parking -Smaller park -Fairly walkable, there are some hills and of course stairs. -Nice shady areas -Clean (minus the lazy river) -Has misting areas to help cool down -Lines for slides weren’t long (but…(con) the lifeguard waits to let the next person go down the slide once the previous person was totally out of the pool which can take awhile and makes the lines move slow) -Has options to take coolers but was not aware of this so I can not speak on this experience or the requirements. -Reasonable hours Cons: -Mixed guidance. One person would tell us we could wear our water shoes and then another person would tell us we couldn’t wear our water shoes. It would be nice if they would provide a list on which slides/pools allowed water shoes. -Lazy River was dirty. Dead frogs on the bottom of the pool (YIKES!!) -In the kiddie area there are 3 slides, little kids always climbing on the bottom of the slides and kids keep coming down the slides. Parents not paying attention to their kids. -Concrete very hot, especially when you can’t wear your water shoes. -Limited (non-existing) options for family slides. Kids must be a certain height regardless of their ability to swim. Makes it hard to do things as a family when you have children of various heights. -Life jackets required depending on height in some of the pools (pool with the ship and wave pool), again regardless of child’s ability to swim. Would be nice for the opportunity for a child to receive a bracelet to test out of life jackets to swim in the pools. Typical park prices (parking, food, admission, etc.) are expensive. We paid $41 for two orders of chicken tenders with fries, 2 waters and 1 Gatorade.

Kids pool is Absolutely filthy. Paint chipping off everything. I had to ask 3 people before anyone even pretended that they would find someone to replace the paper towels at The Diaper Changing Area!!!! It's the one main place that I'm sure people would like to be able to wash their hands!!! Preteens run around in droves without any supervision, and no one from the park says anything to them. The bathrooms are Completely Unhygienic no one is cleaning them throughout the day, what I saw turned my stomach. This park is raking in the cash from ticket sales to parking and overpriced food. One slice of pizza and one drink $12.00. A whole pizza was advertised as $40.00. While these prices are the usual prices for parks similar to this this one is just so disgusting and dirty. With Rampant damage to everything including fences and ropes placed to keep kids out of areas. This place needs a serious overhaul on it's management and they most definitely need to have a new system in place for keeping this place clean. And the kiddie pool needs someone devoted to making sure kids aren't able to reach down everywhere and pick up, pieces of plastic bags, small rubber bands, dead bugs, paint chips and anything else from the time they open until the time they close. Because obviously the filters in place are not sufficient to keep the pool anywhere near clean.
