My family and I decided to go to Wet and Wild on a somewhat last-minute trip on a Sunday. I was able to call in the morning and talk to someone on the phone about obtaining tickets. Tickets at the door were $65 per person over 2 years old. However, if you purchased them online, you would be able to get them for $35 a person or $30 for a military. Unfortunately, when I tried to do the military option, I was unsuccessful several times. The extra $5 would have helped pay for the $20 parking. However, I was still very happy to get a discount for purchasing the tickets online. We arrived at the park at noon and were able to stay very busy until the park closed at 5 pm. There were several restrooms throughout the park, and the soap was always full, and the bathrooms all had toilet paper. The employees were in a good mood. They were also very helpful if we had any questions. The pools were somewhat chili to my body's temperature preference. However, we were all able to get in the water and enjoy ourselves. The Lazy River, I wish they had pulled out some more tubes for people to get on, but it was very relaxing. My children enjoy jumping off of the pirate ship into the pool. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was that my 5-year-old, who is about 45 in tall, was unable to ride most of the slides in the park. You have to be 48 in tall in order to get on all of the slides except for the ones in the baby area. Since we went with two adults and two children, one of us was able to go on the slides with the older child while the other one stayed in the pools with the younger child. The wave pool was also a huge success for our family. It was so nice that a big wave came about every 3 minutes as opposed to other parks that have wave pools, and the wave comes every 5 to 10 minutes. The pools looked clean. And the lines were not drastically long. The most we wait in a line was about 20 minutes before we were able to actually get into the Lazy River or the slide. Overall the atmosphere was very nice at the park. We also enjoyed some food. There was plenty of seating, and we were able to secure a couple of seats near the pirate ship. Another pro was the availability of life vests at essentially all of the pools. My 5yo felt very comfortable and safe in that, even though he is a beginner swim. We will definitely be returning.

Previously I felt like I was owed a full refund. Management replied to my review however they provided a fake email address to address my concerns. I’m still unable to redeem my snack vouchers from June. Upon entering the park today on Labor Day for the $34.99 Last Splash Deal and previously in June ( on a Saturday ) I was greeted by a long list of attractions that were not operating. Already that is limiting. The weather was perfect there is not a cloud or roll of thunder in sight. Why is the park not fully operational ? I also discovered that they were closing at 5:00 on a Saturday ! Unheard of ! Thank God we arrived a little after opening or it would be money down the drain. We previously purchased the All Day Meal Pass which limits you to eating from 3 of the worst eateries they have to offer at $13.99 which includes a meal, drink and “ a snack “. The meal tickets purposely do not detail where you can purchase your meals or snack. The employees don’t know either. They treated our online meal vouchers like food stamps. We had to walk around to figure out who would accept our meal tickets. My friend gave up on finding the right concession stand and ended up paying for all her food out of pocket after paying for the $13.99 voucher. I was determined to not get played the fool. I stumbled upon Captain Eli’s. Big mistake. The food was terrible and the employees working were miserable. Be smart. Pack a cooler of food and LEAVE IT IN THE CAR. Do not be taken advantage of. When we went to use the snack voucher all of the select snack concession stands were closed for business. The entire day. The only option was funnel cake which is not apart of the snack voucher deal. Only popcorn and pretzels. Today we decided to order a pizza pie from Luigi’s. Freshly made and much better than Captain Eli’s. We also had funnel cakes upon leaving. Pretty good. My other issue is how filthy the place is. There’s no reason the changing area and bathrooms are deplorable!!! The Shripwreck Cove pools and wave pool areas were clean and nice. The rapids tube slides with single, double and triple floats were a good time. My daughter enjoyed Dragon’s Den. After losing 30 minutes to each water slide line it was already 5:00 PM. This is where I feel very cheated. They really are understaffed here and it shows. I will say that the concession stands were better this time because there were no crowds on Labor Day. It drizzled on and off and the park operated on an alternating schedule for rides. Different attractions were alternating hours to please the masses. We had a lot of space to move around this trip because of the holiday. Many people stayed home. The children had a chance to ride the slides and not lose an hour in line. I would rather drive to Wilmington to Jungle Rapids.I will say the music selection by Shripwreck Cove was the best part.

Hi, We purchased season passes this year. I visited the water park with my 3 year old daughter and her father for the first time this season on June,1,2025. I enjoyed my time with my family, however my daughter got hurt twice, and I also made a few personal observations I feel the need to share. I reached out to HR and his Voicemail is full. First and foremost, as my child reached the top of the entrance for the kiddie slide rider line she slipped twice in the same spot. The first time she fell she hurt her leg, and was wobbling around for a while, then about 30 minutes she got hurt worse as she fell backwards on the concrete and hit her head and started crying. (I will attach a picture for reference to the location for who it may concern.) shortly after my daughter fell another girl around the same age also fell and got hurt same spot. After that experience I'm going to get my daughter pool grip shoes, however I think it's a urgent need to figure some type of safety parameters where the kids don't fall particularly in this area entering the top of the kiddie slides ride entrance. Maybe like a no slip rug or something of that nature. My other observations were that the lifeguards were not really enforcing the rules of feet first at the kiddie pools there is a sign that clearly says feet first, and I watched numerous amount of young children go upside down, and sideways without anyone saying anything and I feel like that poses a safety risk. Lastly, I feel like that the first kiddie pool with the boat and water umbrella is too slick and is overdue a renovation as it's been like that, but seems slicker after decades of wear and tear I know personally it hasn't had any type of renovation, and it's also has spots where it's overly ridgid, with the remainder of the pool being very slick. There a few times over the past few years I've gotten in and started to slip. It is my hope that someone will look at my review and advocate to make a change for the better so that this water park can be safe and enjoyable. 🙏

A decent sized park with not much of rides but with waiting times in lines, you can do everything they have. Before I go ahead with things we did and all, it could have been very much better in terms of managing people or lines. Guest services were outside and nothing inside park. We were to buy all day dining pass and while you have to wait for certain restaurants to open to buy them inside, if you wish to buy at gues services, you have to go out and stand in line again to come inside. Certain places you won’t understand where to take tubes and which way to go for rides. For certain rides, staff at bottom of rides doesn’t know on rules at all. While rules on board says glasses with headstrap allowed, lady at entrance says not allowed even with headstrap while guard at top of ride says its allowed. We took single any day admission ticket online at perks for $33 which is best price. Reached at 10:30 AM on sunday while park opens at 11:00 AM. There was a mile long line already by then, line started moving at 10:45 AM itself ofcourse rides started at 11:00 AM exactly. Parking priced at $20 for regular (if you come early, you will get a newrby parking), $25 for vip. Took a locker for $25 ( if you can manage with little stuff to change clothes and all in small cover, you can get a smaller locker at $18) which was good to store a backpack. Lockers are available at multiple locations. We were able to take 3 rides quickly as crowd just started building up. Took all day dining pass for $37 at one of restaurant’s at 12:00 PM and utilized it throughout. If you’re someone who wants to eat and try everything on a sunny day with pizza, icecream, burgers and all, I would recommend this. There is h20 pass which is express lane for certain tides that starts at $35 but if you can wait in lines, you can skip this. All rides were decent with ‘The edge’, ‘bombs away’, ‘daredevil’ were high thrill rides. Definitely worth a visit.
