
Previously I felt like I was owed a full refund. Management replied to my review however they provided a fake email address to address my concerns. Iâm still unable to redeem my snack vouchers from June. Upon entering the park today on Labor Day for the $34.99 Last Splash Deal and previously in June ( on a Saturday ) I was greeted by a long list of attractions that were not operating. Already that is limiting. The weather was perfect there is not a cloud or roll of thunder in sight. Why is the park not fully operational ? I also discovered that they were closing at 5:00 on a Saturday ! Unheard of ! Thank God we arrived a little after opening or it would be money down the drain. We previously purchased the All Day Meal Pass which limits you to eating from 3 of the worst eateries they have to offer at $13.99 which includes a meal, drink and â a snack â. The meal tickets purposely do not detail where you can purchase your meals or snack. The employees donât know either. They treated our online meal vouchers like food stamps. We had to walk around to figure out who would accept our meal tickets. My friend gave up on finding the right concession stand and ended up paying for all her food out of pocket after paying for the $13.99 voucher. I was determined to not get played the fool. I stumbled upon Captain Eliâs. Big mistake. The food was terrible and the employees working were miserable. Be smart. Pack a cooler of food and LEAVE IT IN THE CAR. Do not be taken advantage of. When we went to use the snack voucher all of the select snack concession stands were closed for business. The entire day. The only option was funnel cake which is not apart of the snack voucher deal. Only popcorn and pretzels. Today we decided to order a pizza pie from Luigiâs. Freshly made and much better than Captain Eliâs. We also had funnel cakes upon leaving. Pretty good.
My other issue is how filthy the place is. Thereâs no reason the changing area and bathrooms are deplorable!!! The Shripwreck Cove pools and wave pool areas were clean and nice. The rapids tube slides with single, double and triple floats were a good time. My daughter enjoyed Dragonâs Den. After losing 30 minutes to each water slide line it was already 5:00 PM. This is where I feel very cheated. They really are understaffed here and it shows. I will say that the concession stands were better this time because there were no crowds on Labor Day. It drizzled on and off and the park operated on an alternating schedule for rides. Different attractions were alternating hours to please the masses. We had a lot of space to move around this trip because of the holiday. Many people stayed home. The children had a chance to ride the slides and not lose an hour in line.

   Read moreAwful customer service. I was literally hung up on by a lady today. The website states that they will give you rain tickets if the weather gets in the way of your visit. What they dont say is they will wait till the last minute to close the park so they dont have to give you the rain tickets. We got there at 1 and had to get out of the water at 430 due to rain and thunder. They waited until 5 to close the park. So we spent 240 dollars to go to the park for 3 and a half hours. Parking has doubled in price, price of tickets is already ridiculous and to have our time cut short and not being given our guaranteed rain tickets rubbed me the wrong way. Then to top it off the woman on the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me?!?! I called back and asked to speak to a manager but was told there wasnt one available. I declined to leave my name and number because I had my doubts the message would get relayed. So if you like being hung up on by RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE people, give them a call!
Edited to add - they did not attempt to work with me, they rudely explained the policy and said they have had many issues and complaints over this becauae of how it is worded on the website. In her frustration she angrily read the policy and HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. I was trying to explain how it looks on the website and that it is misleading. If they were worried about guest safety they would have shut down 30 minutes prior when it started thundering and pouring rain. Not waiting till exactly 5 to avoid having to hand out rain checks. Also how is hanging up on a customer working with them. That is quite literally the opposite of working with them. It's being rude and awful.
I absolutely would not use profanity with a stranger on the phone. I was in the middle of reading something off of the website when I was hung up on so unless there is profanity on the website, im am unaware of what you're talking about and feel like someone is lying to cover their tracks. I called back after I was hung up on and asked to speak to a manager so I could inform them of what had just happened and was told there was no manager. She asked if I wanted to leave my name and number I said no and hung up. After being hung up on I hope you could understand my frustration. But why would I use profanity with someone who's help I wanted and why would I hang up on them when I called wanting some resolution. I bought H2go unlimited tickets for my babies to have unlimited access, when we went to the park, apparently the people in charge of the h2go got fired and we couldnât use the tickets. Also, I purchased a cabana, when my family n I arrived, there was already another family there. It so happened, that they booked three family to the same cabana, then we were placed on a totally different cabana that I didnât paid for and wasnât satisfied. They gave me a number to called for refund since everyone there seemed so lost and confused. When I called, I spoke with a lady by the name of Autum, which sounded nice at first, but when I expressed my concerns, she had a very bad attitude, she said I canât get my money back because apparently the park got bought by someone else so they donât have âthe buttonâ to refund my money! Then I asked to speak to a supervisor, her name is Christina, she was as rude as the other lady, she said atleast they gave u a cabana. I told her thatâs not the point, first it was the h2go tickets then the same cabana i purchased was booked to 2 other families, then I canât get a refund because is operated by someone else, like how is this anything of my problem?! Then she didnât like that I said that n hanged the phone in my face, very unprofessional đ¤Śđ˝ââď¸ I called back and they knew my voice and left me waiting for like an hr after I just had to hanged up the call.
