We attended a child's birthday party and over all it was a great experience. Our instructor Victoria was funny, entertaining, and just all around great. The only negative I will mention is not allowing parents to stay. I had driven quite a distance to this location for my daughter to attend a friend's party where she was one among 14 children and only knew the birthday boy. I didn't want to paint, but felt the need to stay. As a responsible parent, the expectation of just dropping your young child off someplace is a little unnerving. I didn't want to participate in the class and could have just stayed off to the side, but felt the constant pressure from another instructor to leave my daughter and pick her up later. I understand the policy of wanting those who are not participating in the activity to leave the premises, but think an exception should be made for parents of small children. It was quite noticble to the other mother's who also wanted to stay, that they really weren't welcomed to do so. Plus, just from an instructor's standpoint I would not to try and lead a roomful of children...lol! Read moreSo let me first say that I’ve done the take home kits twice and went to the studio multiple times and really enjoyed them all 5 stars, BUT the costumer service at the greensburg office is a big 1 out of 5 stars. I am so disappointed that they totally ignored my emails. On my most recent purchase the special was buy 2 get 1 free but the website is somewhat poorly done and was confusing on how to get my free painting. I emailed the girls and someone emailed me back saying a manger will respond to my email... well 2 months later and 5 or so (nice) emails later I was completely ghosted. So my last email simply stated I will drive out of my way to another painting with a twist (Murysville) as it is mind blowing That in this era of social media that someone wouldn’t simply respond to an email. I guess my money wasn’t good there
So I JUST received a response as you see below which as usual didn’t mention the fact that I emailed this company MULTIPLE times to get any sort of clarification which just makes this so much worse. Then decided to give it another shot, brought my mother in for mother’s day & everyone just stopped and stared cause she hobbles & walks with a cane. Don’t believe I’ll ever go back there. Fake people & they don’t understand the concept of customer service. Shame!
So I just noticed (11/8/19) the owner reached out and I appreciate that, it shows professionalism. Even though I didn't have the greatest time, I will give them another try. It very well could have just been the circumstances those days. I also didn't reach out to management to voice my concerns. I learned not to jump to conclusions and write bad reviews that can impact a company. Hopefully I can stop back in and have a better time then I did...
