Dog parks scare me to death. You really never know how dogs are going to react. The over all Conestee park is extremely nice. The dog park portion, is pretty darn good but if I was able to change some things it would be : grass. The majority of the dog park is all dirty. Partly because of the large mature trees shading the ground below. Sight lines are not the best here. The typography of the land is rough and goes at an incline. There are several large rocks laying about and in the back a section where is kind of like a forest. And unless you’re at the very back you can see this section or what the dogs are doing from the front. Most of the people are extremely genuinely nice. I’ve only had an issue with two dog owners. Both of which bite my German short haired pointer puppy. But over all we love the dog park it’s super close to our house and very convenient. If you visit watch your dog carefully and look for ques that other dogs might not be...

I loooove this dog park. It’s about an acre fenced in and has dogs and people coming and going nearly constantly. Everything is carefully thought out and so user friendly. The dogs love coming here and it’s actually fun for humans too. I can spend hours here and cant say that about many other dog parks.

Pros: the dog park is huge and always busy centrally located ample parking provides doggy poop bags plenty of trash cans has a small dog and big dog area water fountains for dogs doesn’t smell, very clean ample seating (benches, boulders) trees for shade restrooms located within conestee park if you come with the family and someone gets bored, the dog park is within the conestee park area which has walking trails, children’s playground, baseball fields, and sheltered and grilling areas near Dillard’s ice cream (try birthday cake! It’s my...

Great park. My pup is a social butterfly and always has a great time. I see some people complaining about dogs not being controlled by their owners and/or big dogs scaring puppies... but I’ve never seen that be an issue except when owners bring little dogs into the large dog side. That’s the whole purpose of having two pens for different sizes. So please keep your dog (and everyone else’s) safe by taking your dog to the correct side. If you have more than one then bring two people or take the dogs on separate days. But quit complaining bc you bring your 14 pound beagle into the large dog side and the big scary dogs scared him... bc it’s a DOG PARK!! No doubt there will be BIG DOGS there that are ready to jump around...

This is the best local dog park so far that we have seen since living in Greenville. It is in a location somewhat close for us so it makes it even better. There is a 25 lbs. And up section and a 25 lbs and below side. Because it is so popular, it brings all I.Q. levels and walks of life. Be warned and prepared when going here. Lots of parents don't read posted signs. Signs that say no children under 10. People bring in freaking babies and toddlers and get mad when dogs are being dogs. Sorry this is my dogs playground not your kids. Also, some idiots bring obviously aggressive dogs and dont do anything to hinder the pets from attacking others... some people are banned from this park, but they're idiots and still go.

Conestee Dog Park is located in Conestee Park and adjacent to the Lake Conestee Nature Preserve in between Greenville and Mauldin, South Carolina. It is two parks in one, with one side for larger dogs and the other for their smaller brethren. There is ample room for them to run and get exercise. The also have disposal bags and trash cans available. The park has public restrooms for their human friends. If the dogs are completely worn out, take them for a walk on one of tbe many trails in the park.
