The Greybull Museum in Greybull, Wyoming is a fantastic place to learn the geological and cultural history of the Big Horn Mountain and Big Horn Basin areas. The people here are dedicated to providing you with an exceptional experience while bestowing knowledge and history into the mix. I attended a fundraising event which featured items from local vendors, artisans and one local resident geologist / influencer. Events of this type are frequently scheduled to assist the museum and expand local awareness of their valuable asset. The displays are organized and easy to view and understand the information presented. There is information on local Jurassic Era fossils located around the Big Horn Basin, Mountain and River. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help you enjoy your visit. The museum is located in the same building as the local library so your visit is limitless in your opportunities to expand your knowledge and support the local community in their efforts to grow their cultural knowledge.
