Airport Road Park — Attraction in Griffin

Not much to say, it's a decent field. About a half mile around by the walking track. There's a gas station at one end with stairs access. Benches about every tenth of a mile. A small playground set that does have soft tread made from ground up old tire chips. The walking track is the same material. After Thanksgiving the Christmas light displays are turned on and are nice to look at for the few folks that don't celebrate as they'd like. During the Fourth of July it's a good spot to watch the fireworks show, same for New Year.

Watch out for those that let their dogs run free and do business without cleaning up afterwards. The bathrooms are present, and the doors do lock from the inside or via key. The doors get locked...

Fun for kids, but DISGUSTING Bathrooms! There were many families for the kids to play with from age 2 on up and it was diverse which is awesome to see all the kids playing together. The playground is kind of small but makes it easy to keep on eye on your kids. The walking trail is nice. The bathrooms were sickening covered with urine and trash. Everything else in the park was maintained nicely. Maybe because it was a sunday at the end of the day the restrooms hadn't been maintained but that was gross I would not allow my kids in there luckily were live...

A yearly staple for our family. First year without the bus transportation and it went better than expected. Griffins finest did great with traffic control and the weather was perfect. The volunteers were awesome and some of the parents needed a parenting class but overall the event was awesome. Santa was a hit as the line was never ending. Looking forward to more years of the Christmas...
