El Toro Loco Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Griffin

The service was just satisfactory. The food came out timely and was good for the little i ate of it. However, the noise coming from one table was so loud and deafening - and at times ear piercing- that everyone could not hear the people at their own table. One extremely disrespectful table caused this. Loud, hollering, RUDE table. All other customers were incredibly annoyed by this table. The rude table of ppl were drinking and the nice ppl were there with their kids, and didn't say anything I'm sure because there would have been a fight or worse by looking at this group. The restaurant had a couple of bigger men watching the rowdy group- i am glad because i was there with 2 other women. They kept a close eye on them and the waitress was watching too. But what the restaurant SHOULD have done was made them leave. They could have settled the checks and then made them leave. They just kept staying. There were many older couples there and I felt bad for them because I know they couldn't speak to each other at the table, because we couldn't. Wasn't even a weekend or game night.. needless to say, I could not eat, got a box to go and won't go back. If they can't make a group of screaming grown ppl leave for the sake of the rest of the restaurant, then I can't go back. I was a nervous wreck when I left. Mexican restaurants should have some noise and some fun, but this was WAY over the line. The food is too expensive to...

First thing don't let the appearance fool you. This place looks more than a little trashy. The food instantly makes up for it. So good. They were extremely busy being May 5 weekend. They were pulling tables into the parking lot to seat people. The entire parking area was overrun with cars and trucks. People were having to move cars to let people out.

As to the service and drinks...The lady who was serving us was well up in her years and there seemed to be a minor difficulty with understanding. We found it was easiest just to point at the items we wanted. There was a roughly 20 min delay between the first plate (hot wings) and the last two (fish tacos). As mentioned, they were crazy busy, so it is hard to know if this is routine. I ordered a single margarita. It was basically a glass of sour mix with a small amount of tequila poured right on top to give the impression that it was strong. It wasn't and was not among the best I have ever had for sure.

The owner/manager was constantly coming around making sure things were good. In spite of the other issues the food was outstanding. I will keep this on the list of places to go back around to and see if my...

I usually order out and it's... food. Went in on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30 it took over an hour to get 2 tacos (random since I ordered 3) and an order of steak fajitas. Drinks were left empty, granted there were larger parties when we arrived but the tables were done dining and only needed to be bussed. 2 other 4 and 5 top tables received their food before us that came in long after us. Our server clearly forgot to put our order in, very telling by the look on his face when he approached, realized we still didn't have any food and he turned around quickly and it still took 15min to come out. My friend's steak fajitas were some of the crappiest fajitas I've ever seen. Like very thin scraps of steak shaved off of a really bad cut of meat and overcooked. Her tortillas and sides were brought out 5 minutes before the fajitas arrived and were all cold. She was urging me to eat my tacos that were just luke warm when they arrived. Wasn't worth any of the wait. There really isn't a good mexican restaurant in Griffin. This was at the top of the main ones and now I don't want to...
