Stanley Steemer — Attraction in Grimes

Stanley Steamer Carpet Cleaning was the biggest waste of money ever. Literal scam. My roommates dog had peed on the carpet in multiple spots. I called Stanley Steamer to only clean those 3 spots. Nothing else. When the two guys arrived I told them I only need these 3 spots cleaned. Nothing else. Instead of cleaning the 3 obvious pee spots I asked to be cleaned they just quickly went over the living room where nothing was dirty to act like they were doing extra work to make me feel good. It was a complete waste of money and a joke. After they left I called Stanley Steamer to tell them they didn’t clean my carpet stains and I asked them to send somebody new because the two guys they sent me literally didn’t do the work or try to do the work. Instead of sending somebody new they said they will send the same two guys back… Great. When they came back, instead of cleaning the pee stains they brought deodorant and sprayed it on the pee stains. It did absolutely nothing and was a literal joke. I needed the carpet cleaned, not sprayed with useless deodorant. The worst company experience I’ve had in my life. I paid for nothing. So they forced me to call a local carpet cleaner in grimes. The local carpet cleaner arrived within 2 hours and who would have thought he actually tried cleaning the stains multiple times and they went away by over 95% plus he got rid of the smell. On his first try he got it done because he actually tried to clean the spots, not just fake work. It took Stanley steamer two tries to get nothing done whereas I called a local carpet cleaner and he did a perfect job...

Absolutely loved my experience today! I was able to do a quote online and set a appt, which was only a week out. The guys who came out where so polite and took the time to walk me through everything and set great expectations on the outcome. My carpet is 7+yrs old with pet and heavy traffic and they made my carpet look amazing. We plan to do hardwood in the future so I didnt have huge expectations, but I am really impressed! I live in Oskaloosa which is a long drive from Grimes, so the minimum was $480 and I found that pretty fair! (You get what you pay for and I knew with the distance I would be paying more for their services, so no issue here! The price of course will differ person to person so check the online quote or call in, the office people are amazing too!)They cleaned 3 large rooms, staircase and hallway. They won't move tvs or large pieces like heavy desks or hutches because they use small plastic pieces under the feet to keep the furniture off the floor and those items are too big which again is understandable, plus liability to damage. They did move my 3 piece couch (not connected), dinning room table and smaller items. Just plan ahead and clear out what you can. Also they will need a water source as well, I have a outside hose they used but they did mention sink for water access if i didnt have a outside source. They completed the job in about 45mins. Worth every penny and will 100% be rehiring them for...

Also worth noting: Josh and William were not only meticulous but also incredibly kind and respectful the entire time. They handled everything with care and left no mess behind—just pristine, fluffy carpets and a pleasantly subtle clean scent that made my entire house feel brand new.
