A nice hike with beautiful views of the farm and the surrounding countryside. The castle is an interesting stop along the way. There is a trail map posted along the driveway which highlights the trail and the buildings on the property. I parked near the Gibbet Hill Grill and then had lunch afterwards. Excellent food and great views from the restaurant.

Worth the trip to visit this rustic barn restaurant. Delicious food, server Trevor was super attentive and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful, as is the short walk up to Bancroft castle and overlook area. Perfect for a clear Fall day!

You can walk about an hour in this area. The castle looks cool. Not much to do but you can enjoy the view. Also, not much parking spots are available.
