Palmer's Cove Marina — Attraction in Groton

Complete con artists. Charged me $3,600 to dry store my boat there for 45 days even though they quote $600 for the whole summer. Cannot image how they try to rip customers off for repairs. I would stay away from all of the Lockwood marinas including Palmers Cove, coveside marina, Cove edge marina, Mystic point Marina and Old Harbor Marina. Plus I only authorized them to charge my card $100 for the storage, I was shocked to get the attached receipt. Look at the price and the charge. ...

I have been a Palmer’s Cove customer for the past 20 years. They are a full-service shop (winterization, engine repair/replacement, electronic repair, bottom painting, etc.), basically doing everything to keep your boat on the water. Great spot if your boat will fit under the train bridge. Very quiet and beautiful part of Groton. The new owners seem to be updating the place more and more and the price is extremely reasonable. If you have a smaller boat you gotta check...
