Jr's Tire Center Inc — Attraction in Grottoes

Honestly wish I could give 0 stars….. I took my truck in to have new tires installed. Upon receiving the call saying my truck was done, I made my way to the shop where I immediately knew something was wrong when I went to pick my truck up. The tire pressure readings for truck was not working at all. I immediately went back in to ask the shop owner if they could attempt to recalibrate the sensors. After waiting what felt like an hour….. the mechanic said there was nothing he could do. I told him ALL the sensors were working before I brought my truck in. (Pretty sure they broke all 4 sensors when mounting my tires) The shop owner told me to bring my truck back in the next week and they would have all new sensors installed free of charge. So I agreed. Long story short, after letting them have my truck for a whole darn day, the owner told me when I went to pick my truck up, that it was not the sensors, supposedly it was just the computer wasn’t reading correctly. AND the shop also didn’t even install the sensors at all. I was told they got them to work, test drove and everything was good. IT WAS NOT AND TO THIS DAY MY SENSORS STILL DO NOT WORK. And now I’m going to have to pay out of my pocket to buy new sensors, pay a new shop to have them installed and rebalance my tires. Also having to take time out of my day and work to have my truck dropped off at a tire shop. HIGHLY don’t...

JR Tire in Grottoes. I took my Volkswagon bug there to have the air condition repaired. I was told the compressor that had already recently been replaced was bad. It was still under full warranty, so there was no cost to me associated with replacing the compressor again. JR had my car for 10 weeks. We checked on it regularly and several times it was communicated they were waiting on parts. Finally after 10 weeks I was told my car was repaired. When it was picked up from their service center my air condition had the same problem as when I took it there. It wasn't cooling. I was told it was worked on for 8 hours troubleshooting and replacing the compressor. I was charged $112.00 for refrigerant and $450.00 labor for a problem that Still exist. I took it back to JR's again and told them my air condition still wasn't working. They kept my car another week plus. We went to check on it again and was told they didn't know what else to do but they couldn't get it to work. I picked my car up with the same problems it had when I took it there. Now 11 weeks later and out of hundreds of dollars. I would never recommend Jr service center in Grottoes. Friendly faces but a horrible experience. My car failed inspection. JR's was suggested to me by the dealership, if fact they took my car there. None of the work or charges were approved by me the owner of the vehicle. It needed brake shoes and the exhaust had a leak which I knew from the failed inspection. Jr's inspected it and passed it knowing that it still had an exhaust leak. They put putty on the the area that was leaking. That is not a permanent solution. The place that did the original inspection will be cleaning up the mess Jr's created. Don't suggest taking your car here if you know you need repairs. They will do the easiest temporary fix knowing it isn't safe for the road or...
