Great beach, one of the best most unspoilt beaches in California. There's a short, easy hike to the beach that keeps it just remote enough to feel natural and wild.
The local "kids" (mostly from Cal Poly) tend to dominate the north end, with Bud Light, loud pop music and Instagram shoots on their phones, but you can avoid them. Depending on the (time of) day, you may have to walk to the south side to avoid the "frat party" scene.
The whole beach is clothing optional, but the south side tends to be the naked side. Earlier in the day, on weekdays, or during CalPoly school breaks the north end stays pretty chill and the nakedness spreads over more of the beach.
