Summer House Ice Cream & Deli — Restaurant in Greene Township

This might be dangerous! I live near here and just stopped in for the first time this evening… I’ll definitely be back. Very cute place! So nice that they renovated the previous building which was dilapidated and sat empty for years.. it’s very cute and gave me vibes like the old IceCream House. It’s much smaller, but very open and inviting. This little shop is a gem, situated across from the Fayetteville Fire Hall. They serve Hershey’s ice cream and other things too, like soft serve and I think shebert? I got three different flavors which were all very yummy but I probably should not have mixed all these delectable flavors in one cup. Price was very reasonable! It was less than $6 for a large dish. Seating inside and out front and on the side of the building. Order inside or at the walk up window. Lots of parking and even a grassy area too where you can probably sit and indulge. PS the two girls working there were super nice...

Cute little ice cream shop. Prices are good. The young people behind the counter are absolutely great. Wonderful personality. Very accommodating. However, the times that we have been in, the owner (I'm thinking she's the owner because she is an older lady who sits at a table watching over everything).... Will often stand up and " take over" fulfilling the order although the Young adults working at the counter are doing a great job. It's a bit strange because they will take the order and start to make your sundae But then she comes over and finishes making it. They definitely know what they're doing and once she steps in there seems to be a bit of confusion with the order. They have unique ice cream flavors and the prices are decent. Love this place and I'm going to miss it...

Stopped in to get a sub to go after seeing the amazing pictures online. I got the Manhattan,a combo of beef and Pastrami. I consider myself picky with my beef on a sub and this one was amazing. Not only was it packed with meat,the flavor of both was popping and amazing. Vegetable's fresh and roll was the exclamation point! Toasted,strong enough to hold that packed sub together,and a super easy bite. 15 out of 10! I'm a big eater and it ended up being two...
