Iām hitting you guys up twice today with a different reviews. one was for a massage and now this is for one of the most skilled locations to come and get your nails done. Every single Nail tech here is amazing and Steph (receptionist) is a wonderful support for all⦠staff and clients.
When I first started coming to Tequila Nails By Cristy, I was frustrated with the fact that no one knew how to do designs on nails anymore, after walking by the location multiple times because (I live a near by), I finally said what the heck it has Mexico, which is where I come from as my peak of interest, then to see how cute it is and that itās owned by a fellow Latina further motivated me to give it a try. A reason why I didnāt immediately start was because I wasnāt comfortable with a deposit at first I was skeptical, āwhat if I lose this money because something unexpected happens or I donāt like the workā but I donāt regret the minimal risk. š Weāre talking about two years ago.
Here we are and I am going to post some of the most recent work Iāve had by the owner, Christy, I promise you you wonāt regret going to Tequila Nails By Cristy. Although, Christy is not taking on new customers at the moment (as far as I know) everyone there is amazing and if thereās any discrepancies, Christy is the first one to get up and say hey, no worries letās fix this letās make it work⦠what?!?! I mean I havenāt seen many nail shops take responsibility for their work, and this was a bonus to keeping me coming back to Tequila Nails aside from the fact that they are an extended family they have seen me through some of my worst situations and come out of them to who I am today. Yes, in two years a lot has happened but my nails have always been on Fleek.
You know what Iām not gonna say much else Iām just gonna post some pictures and I canāt wait to see you at Tequila...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI did not feel very welcome. I had an appt and when I got there, it took the receptionist at least 3 min to even acknowledge me as she was busy talking to her coworkers. Its not that hard to say "Hello, welcome I'll be right with you." There nail polish selection is hidden behind a wall.
Not once was I showed where they were and asked to choose my polish. I was handed off to technician who came off very cold and looked me up and down. On my way to the pedicure chair is when I noticed the wall and asked if I can pick a color. She brushed me off. I went to go pick my polish and sat down. My experience already was not pleasant, but it only got worse.
The technician was just rushing with my pedicure and kept talking to the nail technician next to me as well as her coworkers. As a result of her lack of attentiveness, she ended up cutting a chunk of skin off my toe. My toe would not stop bleeding. She was struggling for 10 min to try to make it stop bleeding. I asked if I can just come back to have them paint that toe since I had to apply pressure to stop the bleeding. That is when they got the owner involved. The owner was super apologetic (unlike the nail technician) and tried to clean the cut. After another 10 min, I again asked if I could just come back. She agreed and didn't charge me for the pedicure. It is only because of the owners professionalism am I not giving this review a 1 star like I originally planned. They also called after a couple of days to check up on me, which I appreciated.
My advise, please train your nail technicians and treat all customers the same. Even those that are none...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI made an appointment here because I noticed itāsā growth in popularity and figured I would give it a try! I was extremely excited as I only heard great things. I made the appointment over the phone after calling the salon over ten times. The receptionist finally answered, scheduled me service, and collected my deposit. On the day of my appointment, I arrived and the receptionist tells me that i needed to come in 30 minutes prior to soak off and this was not stated over the phone call. In any event, the nail tech who I had the appointment with was delayed regardless so I would have had to wait anyway. It turns out, my soaking took 10 minutes and the nail tech STILL had not finished (which clearly defeated the purpose of me getting there 30 minutes early). I ended up waiting one entire hour before the nail tech officially started my nails because the nail tech also took a 25-30 minute lunch break as well! She finally starts my nails and everything seems to be going well but halfway through the owner notices errors and begins to work on them herself. She hands the job back over to the original tech and she finishes my nails. I asked for a simple French and I walked out with THICK acrylics and a French line that was the complete opposite of what I asked for. After spending 3 + hours there I did not even have the energy to get them fixed. I called the next day to ask if I can go in to get them fixed, and the receptionist told me she would get back to me immediately. She took over 24 hours to get back to me with a response but by that point I went elsewhere. Honestly, I felt robbed of my...
