Bouncer was extremely rude and kept blowing his cigarette smoke towards me with the ultimate disrespect just because I didn’t have my ID on me when he knows I’ve been there before. Used to be a cool spot until that man started giving me trouble. All of it was completely unnecessary and they just lost a high paying customer but that’s how it goes I guess. Keep smoking them cigarettes boy and see how long you last there with that attitude. It’s ok cause I found a way nicer bar that doesn’t have employees blowing smoke at me and understand me. How unfortunate for WRP to have such a terrible person work for them. Thank god it happened cause now I’m way happier not being there. The whole staff was amazing to me except for the bouncer. When I arrived, he told me I couldn’t go inside because I was “too drunk,” even though there were plenty of people far more intoxicated being allowed in. I respected what he said and waited outside like he told me to, but then he suddenly told me I was banned forever — even though I never said or did anything disrespectful. Read moreEach time 1walk in to this place, in Bakersfield is a lot of people but with a wonderful atmosphere. I remember going there one Patrick's Day, the whole place was filled with people shoulder to shoulder it was great. Recently I went back and it was a slow night and for the first time I saw what the place really look like I couldn't see it before cuz of the crowd of people or should I say see of people which is bigger.
I think you'll love it there.
